Yeah that's not really a fair comparison. Two completely different price points
@andrepower6Ай бұрын
@paolo.cannizzaro anyone with a brain would compare it to stuff around the same price bracket, maybe cover the options slightly above and slightly below for comparison sake.
@paolo.cannizzaroАй бұрын
@@andrepower6 yeah I mean, when the 8a came out, it was compared to the 8 because it already had dropped in price, so it was just slightly more expensive than the 8a. That was a good comparison to make, and I believed it was a no brainer to spend 30-50 dollars more on the 8 as opposed to a msrp 8a. This time tho, of course the pixel 9 is a better phone, but it cost double that the 8a goes for right now, so yeah, no point
@andrepower6Ай бұрын
@@paolo.cannizzaroI was very close to buying the 8 but it sold out, it was around 30 euros difference at some point and of course it sold out instantly. At around 350 it's the best phone when it comes to cameras and by far software support in it's price range, my only issue is slow changing but it doesn't affect me much since I charge my stuff overnight anyways. I came from a poco F1 that I had for around 6 years and that phone was very good but the software held it back immensely, full of bugs and stutters even when new so this time I went the other route, no flagship specs but a strong software (hopefully).

I think there's a little confusion about this video, or maybe I didn't explain my positioning well enough... If you have the chance to get the Pixel 8a on sale for $379 (quite a possibility this holiday season) or the Pixel 9 on sale for $550 (also quite a possibility), you should spend the extra money on the 9, which I strongly believe is worth the difference in price (I explain why in the video). As I said in the video, if you live in a country where the pricing doesn't line up that way, obviously it is not worth it. Happy to answer more questions if need be & happy holidays!
