Just received mine as well and I'm impressed how much smaller they are. The fit is clearly better, if not a touch on the loose side, even with the large tips. The sound is at least as good as the prior Pro buds if not better and they have a lot of new features that other pro level buds share. My only real issue is how fussy the touch controls are. They don't always respond when I want them to and don't provide clear feedback when they are engaged. Other times, they are too sensitive when I was not trying to activate them. The previous ones were also problematic with the touch controls as well.

Really happy with mine. Updates to both the buds and case are great! The Pro 2 seem to actually cut out wind noise too in transparency mode which is nice!

I have debated hard as heck on getting these, but I have shied away from in ear earbuds, I'm a big fan of open ear now, I'm waiting on the nothing open ear design now😊 great video

My buds pro 2 are coming in a few days, I've only ever had the og Pixel buds tws until the batteries went and I bought some sennheisers but I'm excited to have Pixel buds again because I used to really love my old pair.

I got mine today too. Fitment is great, but I don't think there is a massive difference between the old ones. Maybe it's because it's new, but the case does feel snappier with the magnets and I noticed that the old case is glossier (but maybe that was due to having them for a while?). ANC doesn't feel 2x stronger, but it is stronger. I read that the mic was a lot worse though. It's a small detail, but I quite like the new sound effects too.

Please test the mic quality. There was another video out that tested it and it was the worse out of the bunch they were testing against including the old pros.

I have the OG pros but would really like ones that I can run and work out in. My Sony wp800n were great for working out but they were stolen and now they are discontinued so worried about software updates and prices are still high for it.

10:00 - my phone lights up "oh I must have a notifi-...god dammit, Shane!" (triggered the "Hey Google" command) I've had these for over a week and am totally loving them, the fit is great, the sound is excellent, the ANC is good and I appreciate the design of the buds and their case. very easy to put them back in with the strong magnets they have.

Another small nuance but it annoys me and usually a thing with non-stem design buds: either bud being ANC / assitent on touch and hold means you lose this gesture by wearing one earbud only.

I can make voice commands but I have to unlock the phone which defeats the entire purpose. I've looked through the settings, cleared caches, verified with tutorials and still can't get past the must unlock phone. Had no issues before with my Pixel 8pro

They do fit terrific! I just got them a couple days ago and for the first time in as long as I remember, buds stay in my ears. I do find their tips make my ear a bit itchy. I may try small memory foam ones if they are available and small enough to fit in the case with it closing

It does read incoming notifications for some apps. It doesn't ask you to respond directly, but you can send messages with Gemini.

Google removed the feature to touch and hold to read notifications from the original buds pro. Is that a feature on the buds pro 2?

Just got a Pixel 9 Pro Fold and I'm struggling. Came over from iPhone but I noticed the amount of ads on Android is nuts. Say what you will about Apple, it's smooth, ads are all blocked but it's constant on Android. Trying the adblock DNS but it isn't the same. Really putting me off

Interesting. Where do you see ads? I'm specifically on android as I can modify things to avoid ALL ads, even KZbin. Am not on the pixel product but perhaps look at settings. One thing about android is there are many more ways to customize but that does mean a little one-time initial setup.
