You can change Pixel Buds settings and update firmware through the web app on any device. I also find multipoint to be a big advantage of the PBP2. Having to switch between devices manually on AirPods is a huge pain.

You've forgotten the transparency comparison and also, with multipoint, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 should have the win for connectivity.

Are these better than the previous pixel buds pro? Fit better?

I do like how they SoundGuys uses that dummy head to standardize the ANC testing when comparing headphones, but in this case I also wouldn't mind Harley testing with his own ears which does the better job. The ANC of my AirPods Pro 2 are nowhere near as good as they were the first year I had them. My 4 year old Jabra 75t Elites does better ANC then them.

Harley here! With my ears, I found that the AirPods Pro 2nd Generation blocked out more outside noise than the Pixel Buds Pro 2. However, I still think the Pixel Buds Pro 2's ANC is still really good. Again, everyone's experience will vary depending on their ear anatomy. Hope this helps. well I bought airpods pro 2 and I use pixel 9 pro... why? because all I care about is good ANC, great transparency mode and fit. this is what airpods pro 2 give me. the fit is just too good even if I use android device.

The buds have equal transparency I was happy to find out when I lost my Airpods and got the buds instead. ANC is slightly worse.
