It’s the brightest of its size I’ve seen. As for the wall, a lot would depend on how you set your scene and exposure. But I can definitely add some decent light to any scene. Thanks for watching!

Normally I would not use a light like this as a key and would use someone much more powerful to keep my iso as close to native as possible. But I’m a pinch it can definitely be used as a key. Hope this answers your question. Thanks for watching

I own this light.. And it is awesome. One thing I've noticed is that the color changes a bit when your running it at full power for a long time. The color starts becoming a bit darker and saturated after the 30 min mark.

Unfortunately I have not tried the G1 and can’t seem to find any specs for the brightness to compare. I can say though it is by far the brightest pocket rgb light I have and can handle a lot of situations well.

The specs for both the G1 and the G2 measured by myself : the ranges vary as the G1 goes from 2500k to 8500k and the G2 from 2600k to 10000k Light centered to the light sensor of course with no other light interfering and set onto a black cloth. At half a meter, the Godox throws a good 5000 lx at 5600k, reflector on and without any diffusion like a softbox. The G1 and the G2 have a frosty plastic diffuser always on. You have to consider that it cuts down the light power by a good 50%. Nonetheless, the G2 kills the G1 out of the water as you can see from the readings i got from my luxmeter. The only thing that startled me was the fact that the 8500k got the same result as the the 5600k on the G2. Other than that... Well you 'll catch my drift obviously... The G2 is 40grs heavier at 1325 grs on my scale. It has a better dissipation with its heatsink cover. It does NOT force the light to 80% brightness when charging. And the thing i like the most is the bracket that can tilt and turn the light in any direction and offer an extra cold shoe. On the other hand, the G1 has a much nicer packaging box... LOL
