The best thing about the game it's the way it avoids the "bad draw" effect of card games. By giving you four ways of playing your cards (plus a fifth one for your leader), it's very unusual to not be able to do something useful for your strategy, while forcing you to change your style depending on the cards you get.

Tom... Move your hand! It was in the way for half the video and the camera kept refocusing on your hand. It was kind of disorienting. Try just using a stylus or something for pointing next time.

For anyone interested the designer announced that the next PT will be a "deluxe edition", not a deluxe version of the first 3 PT but a brand new game mode with new cards in a box with intercompatibility, so you can play regular PT with it and apparently use the old ones with the new game mode. So the owners of the first 3 Pixel Tactics will still be intrested in grabbing one of these :)

Actually Tom, there are alot of people who like the tuck boxes. As a person whom is always traveling and living out of hostels, having a smaller package to carry a card game makes it easier to pack into my backpack. It's one of the major things I like about the mtg duel sets; With that aside, good review~ Just get a stylus instead of your hand next time.
