Maybe he had the AI command the back army. You can set battle groups to AI control and have them command aggressively (which would explain the blob charge.)

I know that Rome won and im happy about since their my fav faction, but its just so frustrating seeing players play like that. Like Rome is prolly one of the best factions if not the best but the players never know how to play properly. No hate to the Roman player tho, at least he won at the end.

Man, both the players are bad. If Massilia knew when to turn off formation attack on & off, he'd have easily won. Rome only won through the sheer overpowered nature of the Roman units.

@@mdstmouse7 formation attack is best used when holding a choke point. It's just better to turn it off when charging/attacking the enemy as it will envelope the enemy unit and attack their flank if they are in a deep and narrow rank.
