Mega Bloks really put Lego to shame this year. I wonder why the big L even let the TMNT license go. I'm glad they did, though! These Mega Bloks TMNT sets are by far the best Turtle construction sets we've ever received.

Well I only have 3 things that's on my top toys of 2016 1. The Masters of the Universe Classics Castle Grayskull ( Pixel Dan you weren't joking when you said it's MASSIVE) 2.The 200X Masters of the Universe keychains figures of He man riding Battlecat and Skeletor riding Panthor (I figured since I just brought the complete set of 200X mini figures why not add these in too. They actually fit in perfectly) 3. The complete set of 200X Masters of the Universe mini figures (They went great with the mini 200X He Man figure I already had sitting around)

I hate that I missed out on the Mythic Legions Kickstarter so I'm glad they're doing a second one. Hopefully there'll be more skeletons. Also I love the 4-Inch Nel Mega Man line and I hope we get Volnutt as well since we got .EXE and are getting X. And than maybe hopefully Star Force since that'd be the last for Classic Mega Man's final smash. Also I totally want to get the 1/4 Raphael because of this and your review of Donatello since Raph was my favorite and I don't think I want to drop $400 on all four. Personally for me with the Turtles you either get your favorite or you get all four.

As missed most of these and haven't bought anything but Marvel Legends this year for myself (would say Figuarts too but haven't bought any released this year. Unless the Shadowmoon just ordered was a reissue for the year like saw Kamen Rider Black. ) I never saw that 6" Ahsoka and really wanted to get her. some of my favs of the year BaF Juggernat. Only gripe for me is minor (but major to others) is the head/helmet in one. Other than that, size proportions, poseability, and just all out fun. Had some crazy crossover fun with it already. Not mine but the Titans Return Hardhead. I dug the g1 as a kid but able to do the look with today's poseable Transformers molds. winning to me. Wish kept for myself and didn't gift. Star Wars Black Series KS2O after seeing movie really happy bought on looks alone. Character was one I did tear up on. Was a great addition and just looks cool. Not a 2016 fig but got in the year was DekaPink Figuart. my first female and impressed with her and see why most are exclusives. If recall Dekaranger/PR SPD remember how Pink wasn't the normal Pink hero. Ofcourse in dekaranger she also was pretty good at the drunken fist martial arts. I wish she came with a poseable Murphy though. An early 2017 though is a Kamen rider that is fit for you Pixel Dan. Kamen Rider Ex-aid. A Doctor that's also a gamer and main game for him is what reminds me of Megaman, Mighty Action X. Each rider is a video game based hero. Really looking forward to the figuart line. Wish had level one ones too though. (making note to get those turtles too and the Revoltech Nick ones as well)

Good list Dan! Donatello is awesome...and I'm happy to see you have the ninja turtles mega bloks represented. If I were to give an award for toy line of the year....it would be the mega blocks classic turtles line. The accuracy, detail and articulation for such a small figure is superior.

Going on what you where talking about on the star wars figure about having a hard time keeping up with lines I have that problem a lot, but it more has to do with me not having a steady income. Anyway my favorite toy of 2016 tho is the Transformers Titans Return Soundwave figure that is a figure I have been for 10 year to even exist sense the day I first saw the 1984 Transformers movie back in 2006.

I have no connection with the Asoka character but I collect Black series and found her at walmart and picked her up just because I knew she will go up in value for collectors and she would complete the Rebels set. When I got her home though she really stands out in my display she is just a visually eciting figure. Im really glad I picked her up.

Mine were masterpiece optimus primal by bandai it's so incredible with detail and makes me so happy to see a favorite childhood toy and character of mine be made to look like his animated form. Also the dark crystal reaction toys for sure came out amazing for being something canceled way back in the day to finally be made today is excellent
