Even though I've got my Preorder in for the Gamestop TMNT releases, the frustration of trying to order them during SDCC still resonates with me a bit... wish that woulda worked out better for everyone but at least NECA's making it right. Also, Goro is amazing and you should certainly get it, it made my #1 spot!

I had to pass on the 1/4 scale Turtles figures due to financial constraints, and the 4 pack for availability and financial reasons. But oh! Am I excited for the Gamestop exclusive editions coming soon.

This list is so amazingly awesome! How could anyone poo-poo it? I’m a ML and Black Series Collector primarily. But I love toys too. 4H sucked me in this year. Elves, Dwarves, and those gnarley Goblins. Wonderful pieces! I too couldn’t pass up the Indoraptor and Colossal T-Rex. Granted these lines are fun support pieces to my Legends. Bucky O’Hair tempts me. I also love my now defunked Muppets figs from Diamond. The Swedish Chef is a fun addition. The Mattel Aquaman Shark was cool too. So many toys and only one room to put them in. I need a small warehouse.

Months later, those DC Primal Age figures are on clearance in targets, some missing their legs IN THE PACKAGE. They promised, but clearly didn't come close to delivering. I can't even trust the company now. I'm not pre-ordering anything from them after this.

Does the Amazon release of the Primal Age Batcave also have QC issues? Or just the figures on Amazon? I'm asking because I saw the cave at Target a few days ago and they refused to sell it. Citing release date reasons. I see it on Amazon for less with free shipping and am considering buying it from them since Target doesn't want to make money. But after you mention the figures having QC issues, I'm wondering if the cave does as well.

With me being a big Transformers fan my favorite toy of 2018 was ether the Power of the Primes Rodimus Prime because he's my favorite character and I'm glad we finally got another figure of him in his Prime form or the TF Legend Grand Maximus because I love the Master Force show and was never able to get the Fortress Maximus versions of that mold.

I gotta agree with your #1 pick even though I had to buy each turtle separately and missed out on that rad box packaging (damn I really wish I got that). Packaging aside, the sculpts, the articulation, the accessories, the paint jobs, the durability - all were spot on with these figures and they were also highly anticipated.

In terms of just stuff that came out in 2018, The Tomy Ultimate Classic Sonic, the non-exlcusive NECA Pennywises (2017, and 1990), Bandai Japan Gigan, Pop Audrey 2, and the Diamond Select Gladiator Hulk were some of my favorites. And shout outs to Cryptozoic's Cyrptkins blind boxes, and the Mezco King Kong who showed up in the mail yesterday.

I'll be getting my GameStop NECA TMNT set soon. (impersonating General Grievous from Star Wars Episode III) "These figures will make a fine addition to my collection." Who knows? Maybe we'll also see the smaller scale Foot Soldier & The Shredder. With Mortal Kombat 11 coming soon, I hope that some toy company (Jazwares, Mezco, Hasbro or anyone else) will make 4-6 inch scale figures based on the upcoming game that are affordable (like with a $10.00 price tag for 4 inch figures, a $15.00-$20.00 price tag for the 6 inch figures & maybe a little more for packs & play-sets). Maybe even a Klassic line with other characters aside from just male ninjas (I'm still perfectly fine with them, but how about more characters as well?). How about Raiden, Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya, Jax (regular and/or metal arms), Shang Tsung (young & old), Goro, Kintaro, Motaro, Sheeva, Kabal, Stryker, Kitana, Jade & Mileena? I like the idea of the Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat figures, but they're a little bit pricey (if I were a wealthy man, that probably wouldn't be an issue). I got some of the Jazwares Mortal Kombat (2011) & Klassic style Mortal Kombat figures as well as some of the Mezco Mortal Kombat X figures (4 & 6 inch scales) which were up to $20.00 a piece for basic figures. Oh yeah & I also have the Shao Kahn's Arena play-set from Mortal Kombat (2011) which I display with Ken & Blanka from Street Fighter IV as Shao Kahn's prisoners. Those Jazwares Street Fighter IV figures are a perfect fit & that photo was a hit with many fellow Mortal Kombat fans. I hear Jakks Pacific might have shifted gears with their World of Nintendo figures & that they may only be releasing Super Mario figures. I hope that's not the case & that we'll still get figures of non Super Mario characters in all scales. I still am hoping for that Zora Tunic Link & Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Young Link from either The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Fusion Suit Samus Aran from Metroid Fusion (1-3 variations) & even Captain Falcon from F-Zero.

I thought Shao Kahn would be my #1 favorite of 2018, it turns out it was Mezco One:12 Popeye. That figure is awesome and brings me lots of nostalgia, since Popeye is my favorite cartoon character from childhood.

My collecting was sparse this year, but my favorite things I got are The Thundercats Savage World line, WWE Hall of Champions Ron Simmons, and Funko Pops Movie Moments Alladin's first wish and Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse. I got some other cool pops, but with many of them I can't remember which came out this year and which came out last. If I'm counting things I don't own, the TMNT movie set is number one for sure, and I will definitely be picking up the Gamestop releases now that my life is a little bit back on track and I can collect again, even if not like I was before. I'll also be getting all the other Savage World toys. Thanks for the video Dan. As always, your enthusiasm is infectious and never fails to lift my spirits. :)

My top figures of 2018 are: -Pennywise IT Both the new and classic are good and always wanted to get a Pennywise figure for a while so it was a good year to get your hands on the creepy clown. -TMNT 90s No brainer, those who grew with TMNT and the 90's movies would so want to get these and Neca as always did an amazing job capturing the looks of the turtles and just makes you wish even more they had gone with those designs for the new movies. -Crash Bandicoot Another Neca hit and this time bring us our crazy fav marsupial and they really capture his wacky looks from the game -Ducktales set I'm a Ducktales fan and love the entire set that PhatMojo released, i know some have issues with the figures but so far they are one of the best looking figures i have seen from the Ducktales series and really, this is the first time i buy an entire collection of a show or any media.
