If you look on the chest of each lion, there is a small tapped hatch. When you open it the corresponding pilot speeder tabs onto the inside of the hatch and stores inside the lion.

Easy pass on this. Never liked the electronics and don't care for the All Spark blues. I'm fine with the first version and the classics version.

Or you can buy two and I can still pass on this. I already have the first version, the classics, and the smaller die cast version and other non Playmate versions like my original Matchbox one from childhood, the 20th anniversary Toynami and the Soul of Chogokin and the Mircale Metal Works Vehicle Voltron. Have Playmate make a better one with with no annoying electronics and better articulation, then I will spend my money on them again.

I REALLY hate that Playmates is treating Voltron as a big cash grab with the lions instead of fleshing out the line with figures and playsets. They just want that $120 everytime so they're gonna keep pushing out those lions just like this one. Repaint it add a couple new cannons and we're supposed to treat it like a new toy. I hate it.

Thanks for the upload. I love the new wings. Pull on Blue and Yellow lion head to extend neck. Those "cool little shuttles" can be stored in each lion. There's a compartment on underside of each lion.

This version of Voltron is in all the seasons. Hyper phase shift is just one of the black lions known abilities. The colors of this version represents the overcharging of quintessence while fighting in the quintessence field. The extra black is to show increased contrast due to the really bright glow of blue. The wings are for when the black lion passes through reality with the hyper phase shift.

RIP Playmates Voltron toy line. I can't find them anywhere in stores and this new set is an SDCC exclusive. Maybe something else will be announced regarding the toy line at SDCC, but not holding my breath. Sadness = (

Nice Video Dan, but I have to say that the colors of these lions are quite a bit more than “just some blue”. They are all almost exclusively black, with some colored armor accent, especially the hind quarters. Then add the blue on top of that and the difference is striking. Great video and channel and keep up the good work. Have you heard anything about the Sincline ships being released? Seems like those would be an easy sell.

You were squeezing Red Lions disk launcher wrong. You have to squeeze it more towards middle and push into the connector, not like a scissor.

Figures they would put it as a con exclusive. They already pulled the other paladin figures off the release schedule for the time being and all the stores I've seen have cleared out all the old figures. I don't think they had faith this would sell in stores.

Marion Dorsey Yes he was the leader in the classic Voltron back in 84 and it should stay that way. Red is a primary color so is blue, green and yellow are also primary colors but red seems to be the leader color in the 80s.

The blue lion's neck extends and the yellow lion's armor should be pushed forward. Also I'm pretty sure the pilots can go inside the lions.

On the arms fold the front legs in first so the hatch opens up more and you won't have to bend the legs to get them to fit.
