I actually caught the Origins panel this weekend. I just want to back up what you said and say that it was very fun and totally worth checking out when it's available. You did a great job moderating it as well. I was very happy with the new reveals. One of my biggest takeaways was just how passionate the entire team is about this toy line and property in general. Just got back from my Walmart in Austin and they had an entire endcap of figures plus 6 or 8 pegs. The stocker said they went up last night. About 1/3 were sold already. I got the last battle cat plus one of each figure. They didn't have any sky sleds. But she said they'll likely get more.

The endcap was not pegs, it was a 2 part cardboard display. So all the figures were unpunched, but each had a dinged corner . I doubt my Walmart is the only one with the display so you might all check back and hopefully your stores will get them too. Scalpers suck.

I wasn't planning on getting the Battle Armor characters if they had the old gimmick. However with the alternate heads I may have to. I'm wondering if we'll get a full power sword there as well. I've never liked the half swords so I'm hoping.

Agreed. I was planning to not go all in and skip the variants but at the very least I want the alternate scowling Skeletor head. And yeah I was never a fan of the half swords either both in design and in story. In my head-canon the two "halves" are the Sword of Power and the Sword of Proctection, each being half of the original Sword of Grayskull that was split, not so much to keep evil out of the castle itself, but rather to keep one person from having all the power. Hopefully they'll give us more full swords or at least release He-Man and Skeletor's halves with swapped colors so we can form full swords that are all one color.

Congratulations on the channel, I'm a fan of the MOTU universe, I can't wait to have the new characters. I hope they come to Brazil. But just knowing that they will be sold in other stores, this is already good news. The first ones I had, in the 80's, were bootlegs, at that time imports were forbidden here. When Estrela, a national manufacturer, started producing with Mattel's authorization, the children's dream came true.

Due to all the scalpers etc I recently got rid of all my action figures outside of the Toon/Movie Turtles. I am going all LEGO now and will continue to collect MegaConstrux MOTU as well. I just can't keep running around stores. With LEGO it is so easy to get what I want and from multiple retailers including LEGO themselves. Waiting until 2021 to even buy these is just another reason to get out of collecting figures. I was born in 76 and have lived through the glory years of having isles of toys, yes even in Walmart. Now, my Wal-Mart and Target look like they are going out of business all the time. I think Mattel and Hasbro made huge mistakes, heck even Hasbro has their own freaking store and they don't use it. I love you Dan and will continue to watch your videos just because I enjoy toys in general but the toy manufactures have broke me this year. Good luck to everyone on running from store to store trying to find this crap lol.

Hey dan, I remember you being bummed that the Super7 MOTU vintage line potentially ended, but there’s this guy called Eternal Customs, and he makes custom parts for MOTU figures, including filmation heads for vintage figures. So if you wanted to make, say, a filmation Tri-Klops, you would take the vintage figure’s armor, paint over the orange, 3D print the head, paint it, attach it to a Super7 He-Man body, boom! Tri-Klops! I just thought I’d let you know.

Dan, I'm pretty sure that they said Panthor's box would feel like it was flocked not that it actually is flocked. There is a printing finish that feels sort of rubbery and sort of fuzzy at the same time (the most common use I can think of if hardcover dust jackets so that they're not slick) I have a feeling that's what they're doing. As for Greyskull, perhaps they're waiting for Masterverse and both lines would be able to use the same release.

The skeletor head in the caldor ,cronos 2 pack alone is worth the price, it's what I imagine when I think of skeletor, the definitive skeletor. Just amazing head sculpt. Hope cronos has the trap jaw head sculpt within the 2pack. That would be a bummer if not ,but still will get it just for the skeletor head.
