I agree with King, he is an incredible teacher, for me it's so important that I understand, like and relate to my instructor/teacher, if all three are not there history has shown I don't do well. In this case I fully grasped his directions I had my file open and followed along as a result I nailed it the first time, he is an amazing teacher and I hope I'll find many more tutorials that he presents, thank you so much.

Question: At minute 4:50 you say to start painting under the eye... However when you did, some of the eye lash was removed... Is there a way it can be done so the eyelash is not removed... By the way you are an EXCELLENT instructor/teacher... Please keep up your awesome work coming

You do excellent work. I love a lot of your tutorials. I also happen to know Fiona personally :) I do however have a problem with your approach on this tutorial. The problem with this approach is the eyeball is a 3D Round object. So there is a natural visible curve/bulge to the eye area. Personally, I fix the skin tones and just soften the lines a bit. The lines leave a bit of character and dimension to the eye. If you flatten the eye like this, it looks unnatural. Note: i used to do it the same way.

Really interesting and helpful technique. I had no idea about the Fade dialogue and technique on the patch tool. I wonder why Fade doesn’t appear as a tool option in the option bar when Patch is selected. It seems buried and hidden. Great tutorial as always.
