Capturing nice and crisp exposures during an astrophotography session is one thing, but the later workflow surely is significant for obtaining a good looking final image. The selecting, calibrating and stacking tasks are required for generating a single final image out of multiple subframes.
In the first three videos of this series, we'll be diving into the so called preprocessing and I have divided the videos as follows, split up into a Version a) with Deep Sky Stacker and a Version b) with Pixinsight:
Ep.1a: Preprocessing in Deep Sky Stacker (DSS): www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYp8s...
Ep. 1b-1: Preprocessing in Pixinsight (PI) - Subframe Selection
Ep. 1b-2: Preprocessing in Pixinsight - Preprocessing/Alignment/Stacking
I plan to continue this series with further editing techniques I am using, but for now the first three videos are definetely planned in that order.
