OMG! THANK you! I had NO clue on how to do this. And I don't know if this thing is defective or what cause I can only read the MENU with a flashlight. Quite an assinine operation if you ask me! I'm almost afraid to press PRINT.

To remove a paper jam from a MX490 remove it from the back it opens up in the lower back much easier and faster.

I just bought this printer. So the tray has to stay pulled out after you load the paper? If so, the design is definitely not good and the tray should have the ability to be pushed all the way back in. I've seen printers with better design for the loading tray. I may return.

We don't support decal paper specifically, however, the printer can print on the following media types: Plain: Plain Paper, High Resolution Paper; Super High Gloss: Photo Paper Pro Platinum; Glossy: Photo Paper Plus Glossy II, Photo Paper Glossy; Semi-Gloss: Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss, Photo Paper Pro Luster; Matte: Matte Photo Paper; Envelope: U.S. #10 Envelope

However, not all routers have this button, so if your router does not have a clearly marked 'WPS' button, you are not able to set it up this way. thank you! we found it.:( we might have to take the printer back because i vant find any clear directions on how to make a copy. i think we figured out the fax. and im not sure if we will ne using a scanner. :)

These cords are typically not included with our printers, because we found that most of users were simply taking off the USB cords from their old printers, and transferring them to the new printer. If you are replacing an existing printer, then you may already have the cable. Since the USB cable used by our printers is an industry standard cable and not specific to Canon, you can reuse the cable from your previous printer.
