I kept getting upset and when they killed him I was just super pissed dragons need a rider and can only have one and Jon bonded with rheagal yet he got killed off I defiantly feel more for the dragons then the characters but Jon and dany didn’t deserve the fate they got either but what can we do it’s over let’s just hope the books do them justice

@@dantan1249 Personally, I never particularly cared for how they colored Viserion on the show. He looked bland compared to Drogon and Rhaegal.....Much prefer how the books describe him as whiteish cream colored with gold wings.

All the creativity and simulations that went into their design and development is greatly appreciated. Simply the coolest dragons I've ever seen. The stuff Image Engine did later was awesome but only iterated on the groundwork you guys developed from Season 2 onward. The way you grew them was just awesome.

Anyone notice the wing membrane changes? It goes from looking like it connected somewhere around the end of the ribs to just in front of the hip/leg. I like it connecting just in front of the hip.

My only wish was that the Dragons' colours were more brighter so you can really tell the difference between them. The Dragon models before the lighting effects are displayed are absolutely beautiful and you can really tell them apart there.

What you see there is the "true color" or albedo. That's what you get in photogrametry when specular, occlusion, subsurface and reflections are removed. It's done for the purpose of recreating realistic lightning, with mesured real world values in engines that use realtime occlusion, reflections, specular, subsurface and bounced illumination. Otherwise, the dragons would look stylised. And fake. Still, it is possible to create realistic brighter and more saturated materials for reptiles, but for creatures that big it makes no sense for them to look like that. Look at komodo dragons, elephants and similar animals. Weather and dirt exposure have an effect on the hue and brightness of their color. It's magnificent work done here, with ludicrous amounts of hours of research

Yeah you’ll see this a lot with Predatory animals that there coats, shells, skin will not have too many outstanding colors because they’re not meant to catch your eye 👁 otherwise they would not be great predators. Unlike prey like a flamingo 🦩 who do not rely on stealth for foraging.

The only question I had that seemed to be something they overlooked was if the dragons underneath the pyramid have been chained up since they were young, how did the collars around their necks not strangle them as they grew. Those collars that Tyrion Took off of them looked a lot larger in season 5 than in season 3. Doesn’t seem likely that someone went and there changed out the collars as they grew.
