That moment you realise Rhaegal’s skin and scales are apparently tough enough to smash through several trees at a high speed without causing any injuries, but apparently not strong enough to withhold a scorpion bolt shot from kilometres away... and that’s not to mention the ludicrous idea of scoring three shots on a dragon using nothing but your eyes while moving on a ship... I didn’t even mind Rhaegal dying, but it should have been due to fighting Viserion in the long night, more epic, grander death, dies for a reason- saves Jon and weakens Viserion. Regardless, amazing work on the dragons. They’re absolutely stunning.

I wish that they had made the Dragons' colours more vibrant on the show. Seeing their actual colours before all the lighting effects are added made them look all the more beautiful. Especially Rhaegal.

Best VFX on television ever and will continue to be so for a good many years to come. Nowhere... absolutely nowhere... has dragons that look as complex, natural and real as on GoT!

Incredible stuff, it's bonkers seeing VFX like this in a TV show. Was constantly impressed with the actual animation of the dragons (as I have been throughout the show). The wight simulation is very cool. Shame about... well, you know

The last season had bad writing and ended in a shitty way (just my opinion if you like it it’s fine) but the CGI is incredible and the dragons look so beautiful 😍

Houdini is only for vfx .. but animation rigging ..and stuff like that u need other softwars to work together for the process (maya..zbrush..substance painter ..ect )

Lol, weta digital is good than image engine in dragon fx... I like o smaugh dragon from the hobbit movie..it is best in everything than GOT dragon😂

Funny you say that. Weta did a lot of the vfx for this season and some of season 7. Especially when it came down to environmental fx, they were the ones behind a lot of it

Smaugh -it's holly shit dragon . Drogon better 100%. Smaugh seems like duck . Most horrible dragon ever . Sorry for my English, it's just, I love dragons so much , in games , tv and movie , but Smaugh ..... it's terrible dragon ever. Even Alduin better.

@@jam7778 Yes and so? There are many other costs than vfx, besides creating smaug probably cost more than the dragons in got, because the tech they had back then was more lacking
