Highly recommended this Ankarsrum if you make a lot of bread/pizza doughs. Using mine for a year now and couldn't be more satisfied by its performance. 😊

This worked great for redoing the shower/bathtub of my kid's bathroom. kzbin.infoUgkxfiuHoZJo3bgdVPFRxQ-iqPpfbEHl2cYt I didn't like the guide, so I took it off. I just used a fine tipped sharpie on the tile and followed that line. It does make a wet mess, and once I started looking like I wet myself I started wearing a towel and apron while cutting. The blade it came with worked great until we wore it out. It was better than the replacement one we bought. I tried looking for just their blade, but failed. Not really for larger tiles unless you stack stuff on either side to support the tiles. Anyway, would definitley buy again.

I have been watching quite a few Ankarsrum pizza dough videos on KZbin, all of them bar this one actually put me off. I did think it was down to user error. Really glad I watched this one the others were painful to watch, this was how it should look. Great 👍

You should leave it on for at least 12 minutes (I leave it for 20) to properly knead the dough.

this dough is NOT kneaded. You have done nothing, you've just mixed together the ingredients.

Giop hi. He didn’t do it correctly. You’re supposed to move the arm back and forth to mix the ingredients and knead the dough at the same time and not fix the arm in place like he/she did.

You need to research how to actually use the machine. All wet ingredients goes in first along with the yeast. You use the roller and blade to mix until it is combined. Once combined then you set the roller a bit away from the edge of the bowl. The action from the roller creates a kneading motion. The roller is designed to mimic the hand kneading method. Whereas the hook tears the dough. I’ve used both roller and hook and prefer the roller.

That doesn’t even mix properly, look at how a spiral dough mixer works, it’s much better, it’s a dough mixer with a rotating bowl, a spiral that is away from the center and a rod in the middle.

Dough hook is better. Even better than that is a food processor to make pizza dough. You can achieve the window pane in 3 minutes.

Do you mean the black band at the top of the roller? That's a plastic piece on the roller - kind of like a gasket, rubber disc.

Liquids MUST be add first when using Ankarsrum mixer. The directions for this machine are very clear regarding liquids first. This KZbin video correctly demonstrates how this machine is used.
