What a coincidence that you're uploading this today! We ordered the cheese ones today to go with our pizza order. It was very underwhelming for me. It's kinda like a mozzarella stick with Cheez-It as the breading. The sauce helped it a tiny bit, but not by much. They shouldn't have advertised this as a "pizza" ^^"

I tried these today and you are exactly right about the texture! Not crunchy / crispy / toasted enough crust on the cheez it part! I ate one fresh from the order but then later in the day I stuck one in my toaster oven and let it get reeeally well done and toasty. The texture was sooo much better and I liked it a lot more that way. Anyone trying these, def give it a shot to stick it in your oven / toaster oven and bake it a little longer!

Honestly, I'd be happy if they went back to making fresh dough every morning, cutting fresh veggies every morning, and the sauce they had in the 80's. I had to be in the kitchen at 6:30 am to do prep.. Now the crusts come premade and shaped, the veggies are in bags, and it's a completely different sauce. My son worked there while going to college and it completely shocked me how much Pizza Hut had changed. All gimmicks and no pride in the fresh daily like they used to have when I worked there.

Emmy, I always reheat my pizza in a toaster oven, and sometimes when I do that the crust gets really crispy, moreso than it even had been when I initially ordered the pizza. Maybe you could just pop these into a toaster oven for a while and see if they crisp up on the outside?

I really appreciate your videos and your thick descriptive ability. I have a variety of food allergies, including wheat. While I can eat a little on an occasion I tend to go for established favs. Every once and a while I am tempted to try something NEW in the hopes it will meet expectations. From the beginning, I didn’t expect the crust to be super crunchy. Mine wasn’t so greasy. The cheese was really tasty, as I love Pizza Hut’s stuffed crust pizza anyway. I was VERY surprised the dough is a nice soft pastry. Unexpected from Pizza Hut. It's soft and flaky, sharp cheddar cheese flavored. Not greesy at all. I didn't expect to like these, but the flaky, thin, pie-like pastry was a happy dance in my mouth! Sharp cheddar is combined with maybe too much mozzarella cheese, but that single slice of pepperoni is what makes it a winner! I can see them finding more stuffing ideas. I'm super picky about crust and pastry, but imho they've done well.

That's very true. I like olives, so my example would be like cilantro. But anything wet and mushy is an absolute no no. Bad taste + bad texture though is just a recipe for disaster.
