do you close the clip on the handle to hold down top olate while cookin or is it only for storing it? Thanks

Hi! I've never tried. I would guess that it would be perfectly fine but I would allow the batter to come to refrigerated temperature before cooking or it will lower the temperature of the press too much. But you can always experiment and see if it works from frozen. please come back and tell me! I am sure others would want to know!
