A friend of mine offered me tickets to this concert....i declined, cause Pearl Jam was, believe it or not, just another grunge band at this time.....I loved grunge, but didn't have time to go to this concert....WORST decision of my life.....I die a little inside every time i listen to this....it is beyond brilliant.....

+Kuno Steijn In 1992 I was 11 years old and stupid enough not to know what Pearl Jam was, three years later that changed and ever since they have been my favourite band. If u were any older at that time I don't know what on earth stopped you from going to this gig, I would have regretted it for the rest of my life

There was a pressed silver cd bootleg of this show at a record shop in Philly. I decided not to buy it that day. But then I realized I should have bought it, so I went back as soon as I could to pick it up hoping it was still there. As I was walking in, a kid was just walking out of the store with it in his hands. I couldn't believe it, and I never hear the show until now. This is probably the best live recording of PJ during this era, and there a lot of really good ones.

It was after this concert that Eddie went for a drink in a Utrecht bar, was pretty impressed by a blond lady called Valeska Dijkstra and asked her to bring him to his hotel, which she did on her brother's bike! Both Eddie and Valeska never forgot this event, and more than 27 years later they had a happy re-union backstage in Brussels: "You still have that same smile!" this is old school PJ. i was just a young buck at this time. this was about the time nirvana ruled the world. i always liked pearl jam better as they were the better group (my opinion of course) . this is prolly bout the time vedder and the sound garden crew hooked up as well. good grief what i wouldn't do to have my youth back. i bet vedder would say the same, as he jumps around on stage, flipping his hair all about.
