Cooked Rib eyes on my Pk last night. Probably the best steak I have had. Cooked it indirect first to an internal temperature of 90 and then seared it to 120. Ending with basting of butter and thyme and garlic. Best grill I have ever owned.

How long did he leave the steak cooking with the ports closed?

Believe he said 1:30 then quarter turn for 45 sec. Then flip and repeat. Doesn’t seem like he every cooked it indirectly just over coals the whole time.

@@FACKJORG33 yup and no grill grates which i guess is no big deal. Just different ways of skinning the cat. I just bought a 300AF going to put it together and try to cook something this weekend.

When it’s fresh sliced like that, it takes a while for the pink to show up. As the steak gets more oxygen, the color will come out
