@@TerraExodus his reaction during all that, handling the rifle and trying to text for help, wasn't super optimal, but considering it was only his fourth day on the job and he's taking fire, getting rammed, and facing possible death, he handled it far better than most would. Because if it was UK robbing a truck, it would be 500 gangsters with bats and knives and a vanbomb. And in Japan....well that wouldn't happen. They would rob it in a way that was from the inside since the yakuza owns the bank, why rob the car?

Robbery with a fake gun or implying you have a weapon is still armed robbery and treated the same as if you had a real gun. Another interesting way a guy robbed a bank was instead of telling them to give him money. He asked them to give him the money while implying he had a gun. He argued in court that he didn’t rob them. He asked them for money and they gave it to him. He lost and was in big trouble but he had a good case in my opinion

The vehicle they were driving was non-descript. It looks like any other car, you would see on the road. They knew the route or had been tailing that for a while. Probably a few pick ups and deposits and confirmed it was the mark. Two cars, one sped ahead and tried to ambush, one came up on the driver side and aimed at the driver. Seems like something you see on GTA V. The driver was good though....the way he shuts off the attacker by going to the right line and putting the vehicle between them and the shooters. Trying to run them over was bonus points.

Also, the way you guys talk about robbing a bank is EXACTLY how these guys in Japan did it. IT'S AMAZING. Look 300 million yen robbery, it's an insane story. involving a criminal pretending to be a cop, but pretending there's a bomb, and simply confusing people. He said the bank manager was held hostage at his his house and made it look like a car was about to blow up using his escape. It's some metal gear solid covuluted nonsense, but it's the biggest bank robbery in japan history. I don't think a single person died or got hurt, despite threats of bombs, actual firres, etc.

How is that much money transported? Considering all US bank notes weigh exactly one gram, if you had 500 million, all in hundred dollar bills, that would weigh 11,000 pounds. Yes, 5.5 tons of Benjamin’s.

Back in the 90's there was a dude who robbed a bank in Seattle and took off in a van then rode a motorcycle out of the back of the van then ditched the bike and got in a kayak and quietly paddled away never to be seen again. They think... Sweet.

Funny thing is, even if you use a fake gun, bb gun, airsoft, banana, or your fingers in a coat, making someone believe you have a firearm still can get you an armed robbery and weapons charge

11:52 Actually in most States it doesn't matter if the gun is real or fake or sometimes it doesn't even matter if you have a gun but if you imply you have a gun or make them think you have won or it looks like you have one then you'll still be charged with the same armed robbery or aggravated robbery charge as if you actually had a gun on you and used it in the robbery

As a coin collector, the BIG shows have armored car service. There could be tens of millions...but the thing is coins at that level are basically known based upon prior documentation...it would be difficult to sell them legit at a fair price.

on the bank robbery stuff, banks contain very little money in truth, you're better off robbing someones house, a jewellery store or maybe even stealing some dudes car.
