PLACE PORTRAITS Ep.1: Exploring Paris through 35mm photography

One camera, one city.
For the first episode of Place Portraits we took to the streets of the French capital, armed with our Pentax K1000 and two rolls of film (Kodak Portra 400 and Fuji Film C200). We had no plan apart from to shoot analogue photos, and this is the result.
Join us as we explore the area Jardin du Luxembourge, Rue Mouffetard and Parisian streets along the River Seine.

So glad I just found your channel (I found it at first because I'm a runner!) because coincidentally I just started shooting film again (and making a video about it) and I have the same camera! So this is giving me some great inspiration for using it! I've been afraid to try color film in case I mess it up, but might have to buy a few rolls of that Fuji 200!

That is SO great to hear, Lindsay! We were worried that we'd release this analogue photography video after The Hundred Miler and it'd be hard to find an audience that's interested in that overlap, but you prove that's not true! Definitely give analogue photography a go and we'd be super keen to see the video you make about it. We've also seen you're a fellow Sony Alpha fan :)

I have many similar pictures although I have not been to Paris in sometime (too long, infact) - good memories for sure. I thought the one market street may be the Rue Cler, but it appears to be Rue Mouffetard.
