My son got placed in Qualcomm. By and large few companies which have shown their intro did not turn up at all. But almost all are placed.

Not sure exactly..but difference hota hai bahat... typically 150 around mtech ka hota hai and 700 tak mtech research

Nope. You'll be considered like others and allow for all the company. May be some company put cutoff like 90% in school, ug, mtech ... Other than that you'll be allowed to sit on placement. So please focus on gate... And land on good iits

Hi bhaiya, in my IISc admission application I provided the department preference order as: 1. AI 2. CDS 3. CSA. I made this order because I wanted to make a career in ML/Data science domain. Some of them are telling me I might have made a mistake putting CSA at 3rd. Could you please help if my decision was right?

If you get AI its best. I feel CSA in second choice give more exposure than CDS. But overall not much difference, dont worry. Placement scope is also similar.

Why so many good companies didn't visit IISC? Is it because of current job market or because placements incharge is changed and current one is not that good?

I am not sure why it's happening in iisc. Google MS visited other iits...but not iisc. Don't know why
