Only thing a non-cse student need to take care is coding. Apart from that all the subjects like ML/AI is same for all streams. You can practice coding and master it. a couple of months dedication preparation is sufficient

My main intention is teaching (not that I dislike research) after PhD. Based on the current scenario, am I on the right track. I left my job to prepare for gate 🥲.
