Almost done on the window. Door is next I presume. I’m just wondering if it is a perspective matter with the camera, or does it seem that fireplace is quite large for a fairly small room.

Why such a small window Andy? You have wall space to let much more light in surely.

I should have read the other comments, sorry Sharon I can now see why that size used!

Personally I would have put in a bigger window as those rooms haven’t got much natural light and I love natural light. Does the window open?
@sharonwhyler99422 ай бұрын
Both windows open. We are restricted to size by the restoration project. However, the sun is on this side of the house all morning and so I think it will be bright enough

Why is Sharon always negative almost straight away ( Andys mess, rain etc.) while Andy handles dirty dangerous jobs mostly on his own with never a moan to be heard. I suppose it's because he is a man.
@jenh92522 ай бұрын
@@tommcguire5525 I have never found Sharon to be negative....you can't possibly be watching the same program. Who do you think treats all the wood with linseed oil, did you watch the stone floors being laid? I could go on and on about the amount of work she does!!! I am offended for her.

I have no idea why people would fund you fixing up a house when so many people in the world can't afford to own a house anymore. Don't move if you can't support yourself there.
@margaretlovelock70312 ай бұрын
If you can’t say something nice don’t come on here, your comments aren’t wanted.
@FincaLife2 ай бұрын
I beg your pardon! This is our job. If we didn't spend many hours a week making videos, we could earn probably 10 times as much doing building and restoration work locally - in either case the work on the house would continue as it is now. We do this because we choose to, with the hope of passing on knowledge, inspiring people or simply by people finding it interesting. Without the support of viewers and advertising revenue, we wouldn't be able to produce the videos but as said, we could actually earn much more for the same amount of time we invest in video editing, production etc. Please don't make speculative assumptions when you have no idea about peoples circumstances.
