PS: I am so sorry about the constant change in lighting... I tried a new auto setting on my camera to help balance the natural light change but.. ya... total fail.. Lighting has been fixed for future videos.
I love these crazy bird stamps by Tim Holtz. I came up with the idea of the layout about a week ago when I've been missing my friends. So the words that came in the pack was perfect.

I LOVE the idea of painting the back of your cling stamp, where the picture is, first to be sure you like the color. I wouldn't have thought of that in a million years! Thank you for explaining the eraser pen with the stamps. I've seen other crafters do that but they did not explain why. I love the tree and branch. Very nice! Love the vine and grass washi too! Beautiful set up. Not sure how much room there is for planing but it sure is a great piece!

Amazing! I enjoy your planner style because they it is so unique. I might have also gone out and purchased some of the products you have with the crazy idea that I could recreate it only to learn I don't have the skills, lol. Keep being uniquely you. I have a question and a small complaint: Question-what type of brush do you use when adding water to the boxes? Small complaint-during your video, the brightness kept going in and out and hurt my eyes a little, though that might just be my iPad. But anyway, fabulous job.

If you want to get the inks off your stamps with less stain try Antibacterial hand wipes.

Thank you! And I always tell the people who says they dont have the skills, everyone got to start off somewhere. And just like you said, " be uniquely you." Even if you dont like what you did, you still actually did it. That is an accomplishment of its own. Sometimes I over think about layouts too, and Ill push off on a video because Ill think its not good enough. Until one day I just get up and start, and here you see the end result. So dont give up and just do it! ^_^ The brush I used is a round watercolor brush size 12 by Princeton Art & Brush Co. I had this brush since college and I dont really remember where I got it, but Im sure you can find similar ones at your local crafts store. Also, Im sorry about the lighting... I tried the auto setting on my camera for the 1st time and didnt realize the drastic light change till after I was done... and ya.. about 3 hrs of work and I really like the layout so I let this one slide. haha So sorry again for the crappy lighting, I will try my best to fix it and hopefully find a solution. :P

Its really a beautiful couple of pages and yes, I think you might want to consider just letting it be an art journal. As a planner, I think that's something disposable. I would think you'd want to keep these! I've not seen your other videos (yet!) I was wondering what the tool was you used on the stamps that looks like a black marker with a white eraser-looking thing on the end?? That's the one thing I've not see before and I kept trying to figure out what purpose it served. I'm sure of your tell me I'll think I need one now! haha! You're very talented. haha ya I thought about if I will be keeping these in the future. I dont decorate like this every week since it is just too much work.. haha so I think I might just keep the pages that I do decorate like this. As for the black marker thingy. It is an eraser, I like to rub on new stamps before stamping. It helps the ink stick to new stamps better and get a more clear image. :) Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

So far not with Micron Pens. Just dont press to hard or hold it in one place too long and letting the ink pool. Then I think you should be fine.

The paper can handle up to a certain point. Too much water will start to peel the paper so be careful. :)

I noticed that you used watercolors, may I ask how you got the planner pages to lay flat even though you used water on them. I honestly love this video it turned out beautiful, I've watched it a few time to get some some new techniques.

for this layout i used quite a lot of water on the left side that it did warp it more than normal. As I was working on my right side. I smashed the page with watercolor between some books to help flatten it out more. It helped a little but whenever you use water on these pages there will always be some warping.

This is beautiful, but I guess I don't understand the concept of having a planner, if you aren't going to use it to plan with--lol. Like if you need to do something on Tuesday--you can't really write that in because # giant cute bird. Not judging--just wondering why you don't use an artists pad--or spare piece of paper for this kind of "heavy" art in your planner, instead of the actual planning pages themselves. I mean it's adorable, but function?!... lol

I work monday thru weds and i am out of my house for 15hrs... so I usually dont have much plans on those days. Thats why I decorate pretty heavily in those areas. I know my style is not for everyone but it works for me. :) Thanks for the feedback. ^_^
