I LOVE that you’d found a way to simplify bullet journaling to the max! I’ve been doing it for 2 years and starting out so extravagant all different colored markers, fine liners and doodles and have definitely transitioned to just black ink and function over fashion. The stamp idea as well as the graph idea are GENIUS

I love your work - never apologize for being minimal. For me, I’m just getting started and there’s so much out there that I’m overwhelmed. Going with a minimal, yet artistic layout, to me, is in keeping with the spirit of bullet journaling. It was meant to save time and you’ve proven you can be minimal AND artistic. Keep up the great work and enjoy Iceland! You should post a video from there 🇮🇸

Rodger Mangold I think the true purpose of the bujo is to make it something that meets your needs as an individual so for the aesthetic bujotubers a creative bujo meets their needs just as a minimal bujotuber’s bujo meets their particular needs. There has never been a set way to bujo.

The title introduction sequence with the different levels of focus is so creative! I've never seen anyone do anything like that before, holy crap. That's so unique and inspiring, what an incredible idea. I'm only eleven seconds in and already I had to pause and comment because I was just so startled and amazed lol.

thank you so much for this. I love your aesthetic so much.your videos are really the primary source of my bujo inspiration. I am on the same journey with my bujo/my life. this year I scrapped the blank bujo completely and bought a pre printed hobonichi cousin which I am HATING.i love the planner layout, the paper, the aesthetic etc I just hate the structure. I didnt realize how much I liked the flexibility of a blank notebook despite some of the planning paralysis it gave me. and just in time your new videos came out! so i ordered a new leuchtturm and started over. I also bought the bullet journal book also which is really helpful. Thanks again, so grateful to have you back. I hope you are enjoying your trip!

I like how you utilize the block stamps - I like to use them myself for scrapbooking, but it bothers me if they're not straight, so I'll use a rubber band to hold together all of the letters in a single word. If there's duplicate letters (like all the 'e's in September) I just flip another letter upside down to hold that spot open for when I'm done stamping. Just a friendly tip for anyone who's thinking of using them too, but doesn't trust their lineup by eye :) [EDIT: OOH! Iceland?! Hope you have a wonderful trip!]
@MyLifeinaBullet5 жыл бұрын
That's such a cool tip, thanks so much for sharing it! I actually want to let go of trying to make everything perfect so it doesn't bother me if they're wonky, it gives it a 'handmade' feel, but there are times when I want to make them straight so I'll definitely use that tip! 😁

Hey there, loved this spread ! I like that you use tools to help you with the set up. Could you suggest a set up that would take up to 15 minutes ?
@MyLifeinaBullet5 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Well if I hadn't done the packing list (which I only do when I need it) and cover page, this probably would have taken 15mins or so. If you need quick setups then just do the bare minimum with no decorations and only create the spreads that will be useful to you. But I think I'll take that challenge and maybe make a video out of it!! 👌

I followed one of ChristineMyLinh's tutorials (she prints them on clear matte sticker paper and then you just cut them out). If you have a laser printer that would work best because it's harder to find ones that work with Inkjet :(

I like the simplicity.... I really do... it's not overwhelming. But I just want to know...How do stamp those single letters so perfectly and straight.? Is there a technique?
@MyLifeinaBullet5 жыл бұрын
The small stamps are easy to do in a straight line because you can see where to stamp when you tilt your head, but it's harder to see for the big ones so I just eyeball it and hope for the best 😂 they're not all straight but I actually like that because it looks more 'handmade' rather than printed.
