Thank you so much, Suzee! As I started setting up my dailies I realized I wasn’t going to be adding any decor and that it might be a little boring lol. BUT functional is always my primary goal and I appreciate hearing that you enjoyed watching! 😊

@@elliescorner2019 oh I love the washi and minimal stickers too .. your doodles are so cute ! I actually have been taking notes how you plan (along with other favorite you tubers ) and want to use a standard for 2021 .

Thank you, that means so much to me! 💛 I love the Standard size so much more than I expected to!! I love adding decor to it too (I’ve just been doing it daily and not beforehand)and the minimal-ish style seems to be my sweet spot. Have you used standard before?

@@elliescorner2019 yes it was the very first TN I ever used long time ago..then ALL the sizes spoke out to me to try lol right now I'm using a b6 slim TN.. I like using one system size at least half the year. But next year needs to be one size all year. GOALS lol
@elliescorner20194 жыл бұрын
I definitely hear you in being called to try all the sizes lol! To be fair though, it’s hard to know how much you’ll enjoy something until you actually give it a go. I like that you give it 6 months, that’s a great way to really put it through its paces. Love that you’re challenging yourself with one size for 2021!! And that you’re going back to your original size. 😍

I just love how the Standard Size TN is working out for you, Ellie! Your date pocket is so cute, and I love how you put the past week reflection and the coming week rolling on the same page. It makes a lot of sense to me that way also. It’s such a simple setup with the pen and Tombow marker, which makes it so easy to use. Nothing gets in the way of your function, but you can add deco as you have time and inclination. I enjoy watching so much and always appreciate you sharing! 🧡

Thank you so much, Casey! 🤗 I think you’re so right - the simplicity of the pen and Tombow are the bones of this setup, and anything else is a bonus but not necessary. I think the reflection/rolling weekly should work much better this way!! (I didn’t even realize it would be a problem the other way until I finished half of my reflection in the wrong week 😂)

One more thing , do you take this journal with you outside the house occasionally to make changes in tasks and for notes ?
@elliescorner20194 жыл бұрын
It depends! With the pandemic I haven’t really been going anywhere so it stays at home. If I’m just running out for a quick errand I’ll usually leave it at home but for work, or a day that I’ll be out of the house I typically bring it with me. Thank you for watching! 😊

Can you explain with example , The weekly Reflection ? I am not having a clear picture of it in my mind .
@elliescorner20194 жыл бұрын
Sure! At the end of the week (Sunday for me) I sit down and fill out each section in the Weekly Reflection as it pertained to the past week. I’ll usually flip through my bullet journal and go over my completed tasks, any special memories, and so on. So in my “what’s working” section I might write things like “did morning pages every day, followed IG schedule, practiced yoga” and in my “what’s not working” section I would write things I hoped to do but didn’t get to, or routines that aren’t fitting quite right, such as “walking every day (too hot), reading in evenings”. The next two sections are forward looking: for the upcoming week’s prep I’ll look at my monthly calendar and if I have any appointments I’ll write those down; if I think of any notes/questions/concerns I want to bring up at the appointment I’ll jot them down too. I’ll add in any events or schedules calls I have with friends etc. The “tomorrow’s priorities” section is my most important tasks for Monday. I hope this helps!!

I write a weekly task list of things that I would ideally like to get done that week. In my habit tracker I also track consistent things that I would like to do on a weekly basis (ex. Yoga, meditation, call grandparents, etc.)
