I love honesty too, so thank you for being honest with us. And although you had a hard time, I don’t think we would have noticed if you didn’t tell us. And your month still looks great. Good job with the Segway too!

Thank you for your kind words; it’s important to me that I share how I’m feeling and how that translates into my planning. That Segway ride is a big “win” for me, and I’m so happy that I documented it!! Thank you for watching! ☺️

Love it! I agree that it is a great system/setup to look back on and that is why I do it as well. It is fun to see the personality changes from each book to...lol. I think that review template is awesome and such a great idea. Thank you for sharing your August journal.

Thank you so much, Morgan! I’m glad you mentioned the chattiness... I started editing and thought “hmm, this is more rambling than usual” 😅 so I’m really glad you enjoyed it! 🤗

Love love love! Watching your videos have given me great ideas on how i want to set up mine. :) How do you know what fonts to use with your daily words?
@elliescorner20194 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, that’s so kind!! Choosing fonts is fun for me and also pretty random. With the Harry Potter theme some words felt more serious/dark so I would try and choose a lettering style that felt the same (maybe more Gothic or traditional). I try and match the tone of the word and the tone of the lettering style if that makes sense! (Fun, somber, intellectual, etc. It’s all so subjective! This also sounds strange now that I’m saying it aloud. 🥴) Sometimes I’ll just scroll through my Pinterest board and see what I haven’t used in a while! I hope that helps, and thank you for watching! ☺️

Love the Standard TN! If you have read the bullet journal method book, I would like to hear your opinion about it and what new have you learned from it.

Thank you so much! I’ve read most of The Bullet Journal Method and I found it extremely helpful. When I first started bullet journaling years ago (before I knew the planner community existed) I was copying spreads I found on Pinterest and Reddit and became overwhelmed at the effort they were taking and that there were so many options to choose from! When I revisited bullet journaling a couple of years ago I decided I wanted to read about the concept from the creator himself, and it was a wonderful decision for me. The book describes all of the components of bullet journaling (things like the index, the task list, migration, etc.). but it also talks about WHY you might choose to use the system and what you could get out of it. For me, the biggest piece was recognizing that I wanted to create more intentionality in my life, and learning how this system could help me do that. I started out with the basic spreads that are shown in the book, and as I’ve gotten more comfortable with it I’ve started decorating a bit more and adapting it to my needs and my life! I would recommend the book to anyone looking to get started, as well as the videos on bulletjournal.com if you want a brief overview. Thanks for watching and for such a thoughtful question! 💛
