Guess who's back... back again. lol. Oh, it's me and my Hobonichi Cousin which seems to be one of the planners that I just can't walk away from. I made the mistake of pulling out last year's and realized how much I love having all this info in one tidy book. So, I hope you enjoy the flip through of how I'm using my HC and also an update on my Hemlock and Oak Creative journal.

I prefer the idea of memory layouts for the week rather than the day. I am going to order the 6 month daily undated H & O disc bound pages when I can and that will free me up for past layouts

Thanks so much for sharing inside your planners. I’ll definitely watch a second time whilst I’m planning later for inspiration. I thinking of adding regular features to my monthly creative pages like average daily steps, monthly favourites, wins etc Definitely with you about shifting the focus to feeling good and if you look good too that’s a bonus 😂 In another decade we will probably wish we had todays body so definitely don’t waste any time on negative thoughts. I too like to use monthly pages as an overview and keep simple. I rarely refer to them but like to keep for reference with a monthly reflection written on the back. My forward planning monthlies are super messy and I refer more to those to see what is coming up.

Thank you, Tracey! Glad you understood my little tangent, haha. I like how you have a forward planning monthly and then a different one that holds the actual info. That’s one thing I miss about my HL setup is the ability to use a monthly view to forward plan then pull it out.

My forward planning has random reminders too which don’t make the official monthly. I throw away the forward planning month as soon as it’s done

Try a little Dawn dishwashing liquid on a damp microfiber cloth to see if that doesn’t clean off the spots (Dawn will brake down any oils - I hardly ever need a different laundry stain remover any more- I have cleaned sued and leather shoes this way. Another idea would be to try a suede cleaner (try on a less conspicuous spot)

Oh my word I love the discbound and the look of the entire album. I WANT to do this and I am so paralyzed by how I exactly want to do it I end up doing nothing. UGHHH... and woman, THANK YOU for talking about the movement thing and getting older. Some days I am so depressed because I don't even recognize myself anymore since turning 50 a few years ago. 😢

What printer do you use for printing the digital kits on sticker paper? I have a high end HP laser printer and I find the ink smears on sticker paper and vellum.

I have an older Canon inkjet. I wonder if inkjet printers work better on this medium? 🤔

Yes, I use the levenger punch. It’s not perfect, but I think the sizing on their punches is unique and allows paper to glide through my discs very smoothly!!

I really want to punch my Hemlock and Oak and put it onto disks. How did you go about cutting it off the binding?
