Humourous 💪🏾. Are those parallettes homemade? If so, any guidance on making your own?
@TysonE6 жыл бұрын
Yeah. Best thing I did was halve their length. The tutorial used made them structurally weak in the middle cos they were too long but with the mod they're stable. The PVC has been great, they're years old and still going strong. Plenty of tutorials online.

I hope there were people walking by who witnessed Tyson's band hanging incident with zero context and just have to live with that for the rest of their lives.

LMAOed most of the video. Also, not connected to the video: In July I'm moving to Sydney (would be great to have a couple of workouts together), so I wanted to ask you: is it possible to train at Quay Centre or Manly (still haven't decided where I'll share my flat) without being in a recreational gymnastics class?
@TysonE6 жыл бұрын
Yeah for sure! Umm, do you mean like in the area (suburb) or you mean can you train in the gymnastics facility in Quay Centre or Manly without it being a class? If the former, yes. If the latter, no, you can't just walk into the facility and start using the equipment whenever you want.
@dmolinaro6 жыл бұрын
Actually I did meant the latter ahahah I mean, from your and Lachlan's videos it looks like you go to Quay Centre or Manly Warringah even when there aren't recreational classes, so my question was whether you can train freely (Obviously time--wise, not money-wise :D) or you have to enroll into of one of the recreational classes.
@TysonE6 жыл бұрын
At Sydney Olympic Park (Quay Centre) we would hire out the venue, we'd host the session and train ourselves. Lachlan trains at and competes for Manly Warringah so has access outside of recreational classes.

Would you say that the straight arm crow has any carryover to the planche? I’m just starting to train it. Also, I would love to see a video on the back felge.

Any tips on holding the handstand on p bars? I can hold one on the floor fairly well, but I can't seem to grasp the p bars
@TysonE6 жыл бұрын
Practice a lot. The pbars let you not only push against the bars (like you can on floor) but also pull. Try approaching the hs with that in mind.

One alternative for people who dont have the handstand is to do the negatives with the feet against the wall with slippery socks, i find it brutal

ay Tyson, have you ever had biceps tendonitis with pain in front shoulder. I fucked up
@TysonE6 жыл бұрын
Hey, sorry to read! I've had biceps tendonitis years ago when I was training towards back lever. I've had tendonitis in other areas too (knees). Takes a while to heal. Train around it, rest that area i.e. don't stress it too much during training. If you're smart with looking after it, it's just a minor bump in the road.

Straddle press to handstand. Can you do it man?
@TysonE6 жыл бұрын
Stalder press? Not yet, I don't have the compression to pull it off, working on it. I should attempt it again soon (and pike press)!
@followyourideas6 жыл бұрын
Tyson Edwards it's such an awesome skill. It requires flexibility, compression strength and balance. I've been trying for a year now 😂😂😂

Why is there not planche push ups, or planche leans that is going to help you extremely much
@chrisranz27145 жыл бұрын
The planche it's so incredibly challenging matter fact when I was in high school I could never do that planche Iron Cross iron ell but never a planche it takes strength balance angle an anatomical body structure meaning it helps do you have light legs And strong upper body meaning sometimes you have to be genetically blessed if you agree with me give me a hoot you'll have a great day and practice practice practice and be patient
