Edinburgh's best fast food location according to Tripadvisor. Their Badass Burger is... badass!

Over the last few months I have featured top fast food locations around the Glasgow area. This time, I visited Lynne's Scrumptious Snax at the Hermiston Gait Retail Park, the number one 'quick bite' location according to Tripadvisor. I try the Badass burger, and it lives up to it's name.

That looked like a tasty burger, however it looks like it was served on a Scottish morning roll. I think a brioche or burger bun would have been better for that meal. Scots morning rolls are perfect for bacon or sausages but for a “craft” burger I’d expect a little more than the humble morning roll. BTW I love this channel. Keep up the great work.

As a Scotsman living in Canada, I see there is a Canadian restaurant in Edinburgh and South Queensferry called Down the hatch, where they do Poutine. You should try some, would like to have your opinion.

Scott, based on this video and for our 34th wedding anniversary, we walked a 16 mile round trip from our campsite, along the Union Canal towpath, just to get here and try the Badass. We mentioned your video to the lovely and amazing girl and guys at Scrumptious and they were so chuffed and amused at your reaction in the video. The staff there treated us like royalty and gave us an amazing deal on our burgers because of our special day and partly due to your video highlighting them. The Badass was the BEST burger I’ve ever had, and my wife, who isn’t a burger fan and who was dragged along a bit, agreed that her burger, the Aliano, was also the best she’d ever tried. So thank you for highlighting this place and for making our anniversary an extra special one 😄👍🏼

That was one seriously good burger. I didn't mention it on the video, but I had a cut on my lip, and the spices made it feel as if it was on fire.

St. Mirren have just taken on board a new catering company called Pie Sports. I haven't tried one of their pies yet, but maybe I should do a foodie video focusing on football pies!

I'm not fond of really spicy food. I agree with what you said...you can't really taste the food for the heat. By the way, to counteract the heat, you might want to have a bottle of milk or something with fat in it. Loved the video!

No English accent. Born in Paisley, grew up in Sydney Australia, and returned to Scotland in the 1990s. I could possibly do a video with an Australian accent, but that would confuse too many people. My accent is toned down from the usual fast Glaswegian accent because, for years, I have dealt with London-based clients, and it's necessary to speak clearly to be understood.

Definitely not an English accent. There’s no way his accent could be mistaken for an English accent, however I would love to watch a video of Scott presenting a feature using full Received Pronunciation! That would be priceless.

Edinburgo, cosa vi dico? One good resto i know there. Ottherwise heads list of my worst restaurants, headed by lunch at Jenners bistro. Takeaway anatema. Kitchin chef sits on drizzly Aberdeen beach with Mme Berry, both extolling scotia food.
