Dunone, key place in my cv. Here i visited friends resident on prom, Argyll Hotel. At 9pm sunday we left on last boat. Carried 650 passengers. On quay were 1200 waiting, I announced ship full. The remaing 400 had to sleep open air on pier. Passengerrs included U.S, marines and iti troubadours. Louisaina a place of toil and drudgery. Excluded from river by high wall, scaffolding, monitoring by police and customs. Now it is proposed as slave museum venue, as is Tate and Lyle on hill. In proximity no food oe drink, mostlay sugar cargo, no leisure or yacht sailing. La verita vi spiego.

Congrats om fasccinating videos. Mervyn F. Lang (M.F. Lang )encryption on internet (World Congress) partial c.v. Nobody knows me here, books were written and published in spnish, so used in Spain and Latin Amereica. Here on Clyde i entered subject of azogue (quicksilver) so I classify myself as an azoguero. All comments are true, I know Clyde intimately, sail into Glasgow every 2 weeks to refuel, transport sheep to Brodick etc. Hasta luego, senyor!

The coleslaw in the sandwich tempers the spice and makes for a wonderful flavor and texture experience. Give it a try next time.

Louisiana. Central Griannaig, panorama of workers. The craine arm swings over Cappielow at fitba as simbole o town. Why has amenable fitbagroud been constructed on dock? This was realm of hard painful workl nothing to eat or drink. Why are stores now being consideredd as slave museum? I used wall o dock to wait for bus to Glasgow. Shops opposite included post office, bank, hairdresser which i used. Oppositenis ively railway station Cartsdyke, my main communiucaton wi Pesli/Glasgow/Gourock.

It's not a store being considered as a slave museum, rather a former sugar "house", thus the connection with slavery. The sugar boats used to dock at the James Watt harbour where the raw sugar was.unloaded into the building beside the dock

I can see that you were enjoying the food and I liked it when the sauce got you by surprise. Look forward to seeing a food trip around Glasgow. I myself am from Glasgow but now live and work in London. One of the treats I have when I return to Glasgow is black pudding and chips.

I grew up in the Midwest region of the US: Chicago Illinois. I think of corn dog as a midwestern thing, not a Louisiana thing. And we would never, ever put catsup on one! A cheese sauce, maybe, but usually have them just plain. These were common at county/state fairs. The po’ boy and chowder look amazing! You should go to New Orleans, the food is amazing! Just avoid Mardi Gras - town is over run with tourists then.

I'm from Louisiana, born and bred, and those are not Louisiana dishes as I know them. As for fish chowder, that's Yankee food. The shrimp typically would be fried, seasoned with either Zatarain's Creole seasoning or Paul Prudhomme's seafood seasoning. I expected you to sample jambalaya (shrimp and sausage or chicken, cooked with rice) and gumbo (seafood), both seasoned with Creole seasoning. Now, those are Louisiana dishes.

Scott when you took the taste of the po boy sandwich I was waiting for your reaction to the spice - when It happened I chuckled. You choose wisely for your selections IMHO - I love all three of the selections you had ( I grew up eating corndogs at the county fairs here in the states and there are some that are okay but there are some that 'melt in your mouth' goodness) and not just from Jax Snax but from many restaurants and food trucks here in the USA - thanks for sharing your reactions - and watching the reaction of a Scot eat Louisiana food is a treat - though I would rather have been sitting there eating some myself. I'm not from Louisiana im from california but im thinking of moving to Greenock from London where I live now. I love how you comment on the unhealthy aspects of other vans, then have a corn dog. where I'm from a corn dog is concidered much less healthy than a hot dog even :D

Louisiana! So far i aint ever had van food. This is where I was born and educated. But i never saw river, shut in bkehind high wall and severely monitored by police and customs Dock lined by noble storehourses, turn out to be sugar refineries. Sugar was basis of cuisine, no coffee, aubergines, grapes, melon etc. etc, Now proposedd as slave museum. The education authoriy has distributed letters to headmasters etc stipulatint for pupis a diet of peetsa and tiramisoo.. These products did not exist in northerrn italia. Here ihez Louisiana i learned italian from regioemilian troubadours, serving me throughout life. Fascinating videos, complimenti signore ve lo assicuro.
