That was a really good episode, thanks. I particularly liked your carbon-offset tree planting and your stealth-cam mode.
@mypointofview11115 күн бұрын
The carbon off set is a fake and just an excuse for taxing people more. What's particularly annoying is the taxes collected are wasted on vague projects such as the ones you describe Scott. It's our money and should remain in our pockets to spend as we want/need. That's my rant for the day

I went to Lisbon for a day trip last year, just to ride the old trams, and visit the Transport Museum, it was amazing what you can do in a day. I also did a day trip to Copenhagen, to visit Tivoli Gardens. Way cheaper than having to book hotels. No luggage either. Just hop on a plane and go on a foreign adventure! 😃
@yyyfffff333337 күн бұрын
surely most flights are one a day ? I can understand Scott flying out of Glasgow and returning via Edinburgh . Is that how you do it ?
@robsterbob5807 күн бұрын
@yyyfffff33333 Early morning flights out and late evening flights back. Ryanair has several flights a day to Copenhagen from Stansted. And for Lisbon, I flew there early morning from Luton with Easyjet, flew back to Luton in the evening with Wizzair. If you book far enough ahead, you can find fairly cheap flights.

Frozen paella is very rare in Spain, you may find it in bigger supermarkets in the outskirts but not in the small city supermarkets. What most people buy is the paella content (frozen shrimp and vegetables) and then add that to the freshly made rice.

Paella is so easy to make from scratch Scott. Just remember to burn the bottom at the very end. The Spanish call it Socarrat. It imparts a beautiful smoky flavour.
@susanaescriba9776 күн бұрын
Be careful with the socarrat technique, as it may ruin any poor rice that may have been cooked. It is not easy. Neither is Paella nor Socarrat. If you make a mistake, you end up with a bland, overcooked rice, and then burnt. That is why there are many who complain about having eaten a bad Paella because it was not well cooked.
@salvadorcuerdavilella-rp6qz4 күн бұрын
El socarrat es complicado de hacer porque es falta de agua o porque el fuego está muy alto y puede arruinar el gusto de la paella.
