@@Lucas-gt8en The issue with the game is that while yes, they've added tremendous new content, the functionality leaves a lot to be desired. Frequent crashing, poor optimization, and similar issues cause a great deal of grief while playing for many people. It depends on setup, but bigger doesn't always mean better when it isn't being supported. So hopefully they'll continue to improve that before putting it on life support

I have 3 hopes for this. 1. Don't end up like Cities Skylines 2 2. Add pathing and accessories to blueprints. Tired of needing to add in those every single time I plop down one of my blueprints. Oh great, I need to path everything out and add in all of the benches, tables, and garbage cans again... 3. Add a front desk to the hotel. Have it be a kiosk like the other vendors. Have it be attached to the hotel system. When I first saw the hotel feature in PC1, I was excited. But then when I understood how the mechanics worked, that bothered me. I want rooms yes but I want people to go INTO THE HOTEL before going to the rooms. I want them to have a purpose for being there in this beautiful building that I made. Check in at the front desk. Then go upstairs to your rooms. I built this beautiful foyer and stair well system in my hotel just for the people to ignore all of it and bee line into their rooms. The rooms are like bathrooms and that's an issue. People just hop in and out of the bathroom. That's like real life. But with the hotel rooms, you can put them anywhere (like the bathrooms) and it doesn't matter. I don't want to spend all of this time designing and setting up paths for a hotel just for me. I want the satisfaction of knowing that the NPCs like it. I want to watch them go into the building that I've made specifically for the hotel, go to the front desk, go up to their rooms, and then say it was great or shit afterwards. And now for a non hope. It would be nice if they put in bigger kiosks. Ones that are 2 or 3 wide but still 1 'company.' Have 3 wide for chief beef and they serve different things from chief beef at each window. Yes... I know you can set up 3 kiosks next to each other. What I'm saying is have them as one. No walls. No divisions. All workers behind 1 counter across 3 kiosks. That is absolutely how 'real' stands work so it would be nice if that was in it. Not a deal breaker if not included. Also... Working doors would be nice... To add to the hotel and any other structures that have interiors, like the restaurant. Having a black void that people walk into is a bit boring.

1. No chance - the Planet franchise is a labour of love for Frontier and those of us who have been playing since day one have little to no reason to be wary at this point. 2. This is confirmed. 3. I hope this comes later down the line, all I've wanted is to be able to build working resorts, including parking lots. From whats there already, it seems like we will be able to fake these, but it would be great to have functional resort facilities at somepoint. 4. There are moving doors, but I haven't seen anyone use them. Unsure if they're for coasters and rides like the first game.

2 is already confirmed and shown off in the first deep dive. For 3 they’ve confirmed hotels won’t be in the game at launch, like PC1, but this suggests they’re spending more time on them rather than straight porting them over.

@@ethanshackleton I hope so. Like I said in my post, I spent all of this time making this awesome building, just to find out the hotels are just like bathrooms. I hate that they just walk into a void and that's now 'inside the hotel.' I want to make the inside of the hotel. Have the rooms be voids but not the "building."

Great game review... maybe the best one I have seen. You answered one of my questions which was being able to do different pool depths. Would love to see that more in action, but we're close to release date.

That is at least 4 years away. They'll only start developing it mid-DLC cycle for PC:2. Frontier only ever focus on a single planet game at a time.

The water can get warm if a lot of kids pee in it also. My biggest pet peeve, is waterslides ending in pools still is a thing. I don't understand how they didn't think of that being something people have wanted fixed since RCT3. That's a huge issue for immersion.

Don't worry, run-out lanes have been confirmed for slides! I do hope that pools can be marked as exit-only though for when slides end in them.

i'll be looking forward to play it..I played Planet Coaster 1 and was super good but also super annoying about construction and freedom...as mentioned in the video, construction has more freedom and flexibility, path layouts are more handy and catchy...I also liked the idea of building on the facilities rather than keeping them outside or build them seperately...building adjustments or building decorations are super handy like in Cities Skylines 2 and in Paralives sim game that'll be released in 2025...I'm playing park management games since the first Roller Coaster Tycoon game was released...

I usually find the entrance pricing is never right in park games; generally in these games a guest comes in pays once at the entrance and stops for, say, 5 days but you don't get 5 entry prices for them. Clearly they need to stop in the park due to how time works in these games. This is why ride ticketing usually is more cost effective, which in real life, most theme parks dont have ride pricing.

I have a question if you don't mind answering? Are you able to create signs that place ok the rollercoaster track foundations? Example being able to add text to the top of a loft chain hill to advertise through the name of that coaster? Thanks

One question for you party: I’m not a really creative and artsy person but I don’t like to use blueprints. Is PC2 a game in which I will hate every creation I make or could I build something that I find aesthetically pleasing even if I’m bad at doing it? (I hope it’s understandable)

Every gameplay vid if this game I scroll through has just been fiddling around building a very custom coaster or ride. I just want to build and manage the park and have prebuild coasters and themed buildings.

Personally i kind of wish they make the game fair with the challenge. feels too daunting with management side of the original. I miss the gameplay style of rtc3 where i can use dumb cheats to create dangerous and interesting coasters and get people to ride them regardless of their status. Really hate the annoying oh this coaster is too scary or exceeds the amount of g force etc like it's a video game can you give me a option to turn that off so i can play the way i want? Like i am stuck on very first campaign of the original can never figure out how to get a monthly ride profit with everything else going against it trying to do multiple things like i miss lax style where yea you can do management at your own pace and not worry too much about it. Overall fun game to do sandbox but i wish the game gave me option to turn realism off so i can see what monstrosity people are willing to throw themselves in.

Like yea seen some people who love realistic stuff and that's fine but let us also have option to say screw the rules lets have fun doing some dumb things and enjoy ourselves.
