Planet Coaster | PTC wooden coaster tutorial

There's a few things that i thought could be improved. PTC coasters like the one you built usually only have 3 to 4 cars, and rarely do they go up to 6. The friction is also a bit too high, so turning it down can make it more realistic. There's a spreadsheet that's on the Planet Coaster subreddit if you want to take a look. The beginning of the lift hill is too drawn out, and I would have shortened it a bit. The station is usually not parallel to the lift hill and is either pointing slightly away from the end of the layout or a 90 degree turn from the lift hill. I'm not good at describing things like this, so look at Blue Streak and Yankee Cannonball for some examples.

Nonetheless, this is a good video. Oh, and one more thing, the track is a bit too far apart after the turnaround.

Christian Moss rcdb doesn’t have a height for that ride but it could be the smallest.

How do you get the bumper cam

When you go to the pov of your roller coaster, there should be 3 buttons on the bottom right corner. Click the right most button and that should be a rider cam pov. Keep clicking the right most button until it turns to the bumper cam. I hope that answers your question :)

If you want a more realistic PTC coaster, use the Zephyrus coaster and change the train to Monster. This coaster has the skid brakes that most PTC woodies have.

I think this video was made before Zephyrus came out, but that’s a nice idea!
