Don't forget to name the rhino enclosure! And I like the idea of doing 1 animal in china, 1 in the arctic and so on! I feel like that would keep both locations fresh while doing it. And TBH the frame rate has never bothered me, maybe because I'm use to it from my computer LOL but I've never been bothered, I'd truly love to see this zoo be 100% finished before starting a new one.

i agree with both things this person brings up. 1.) back and forth between china & artic 2.) frame rate doesnt bother me (as of now) but if it bothers u to the point you cant have fun playing without thinking ab it, then its up to u, not us :)

You absolutely CAN join two separate enclosures, at least in the sense of having a shared barrier. I do it all the time. I don't know who told you you couldn't. You can't join them by doors, allowing someone to walk directly from one into another, maybe that's what you misinterpreted? But there's no reason they can't share a wall. Those two nameplates on the exhibit education boards ought to have trim going along the slanted edge of the screen too, having a flat top to the wood wrap but the slanted top to the education boards looks like a bodge. I think that Pipshot water at least needs a monastery type roof. The sides look fine but a flat roof isn't appropriate to the environment and honestly it's a look you overuse anyway. I brought up wind turbines before because you went straight from a solar panel to a gas one with a larger power radius than needed, when a wind turbine would have fit perfectly. This is including the unhappiness circle, naturally, which is smaller. For the cover over the shops by the Rhinos, if you'd done that L-extension that you'd planned but put two along that side instead of just one, it would have gone the full length of the colonnade. Then copy the pillar twice so you have one on each corner, and it would have looked very intentional and real. On the southern walk by the elephants and rhinos, you say that anyone going by has already been informed - that's only true if they're coming from the India/Camel side, not if they're coming from the Komodo Dragons and the Orangutans. I'm in favor of doing the China stuff and doing it all in one go rather than mixing China and Arctic. I'm completely fine with the framerate, I can't even notice it if I'm trying to, most of the time. I don't think enough time had passed unpaused for checking if the komodo loop was working. Red pandas should be a pretty quick build since they only need a very small space and you already built the temple to serve as an eyecatch for them and the giant pandas both. You could probably do them and also make progress on pangolins in one episode, with two small timelapses instead of one big one. Or do red pandas and also lighting.

About the new zoo question, I haven't noticed that the frame rate is not great until you mentioned it. Honestly, the frame rate now is better than anything my pc could do so I have no complaints.

You’ve asked us about how we feel about the frame rate, but I think the more important question is are YOU ok with the frame rate. Because if you’re not having fun playing the game, well that sort of spoils the point, doesn’t it? Your zoo is so amazing because you enjoy playing the game so much, I’d hate to see the joy die. So I guess I’m fine either way. (Sorry if that doesn’t help).

-I suspect the issue of hungry animals was due to the new keepers being assigned the task so the keepers already there couldn't do it, and they're not only having to walk a bit but also less trained and therefore slower at their tasks. -i don't mind the framerate as a viewer. Keep building this zoo until you can't stand it anymore lol -All names are perfect and as I suspected this episode was an absolute joy.

Your elephants had low welfare, specifically for their habitat & enrichment. Still could use the Eastern Brown Snake down in your mini Australia section. If you want to slow down the breeding stuff to lessen management, you could slow the aging rate even further.

Considering it's supposed to the the flagship zoo to the franchise, I wouldn't mind seeing it completely finished, even if the frame rates drop. I do feel flipping between arctic and china animals may leave some things unfinished. So I personally say finish up the China area, then move onto the Arctic. Don't forget to leave a little space for the newbies from South America!

If i am not wrong the red pandas are going right near the giant pandas so it is part of completing that area. We are really waiting long now for those cuties and complete that area with giant pandas and red pandas will finally call up people over there what means make that area make some money. After that would be best finish polar area so finally all area who are not complete are done.

Love the wooden bridge, it looks great ! Maybe you could add education boards about climate change and stuff along the path, so guests won't have to walk that long without seeing anything ? Also, a few episodes ago, you mentioned adding staff facilities on the empty space near the orangutan enclosure ; considering how many people you hired, you might wanna get those facilities soon, your staff would be more efficient :p Thanks for the episode, Party, it's always a pleasure to watch it !

I’m fine with the frame rate as long as the expansion extends and more regions such as Africa are completed. Also the frame rate will be fine when you focus on specific areas I only notice it when you pan across the entire zoo which is still wonderful to look at.

loved the Count, counting. it brought a good laugh and now i cant stop saying it to myself 🤦🏼‍♀️ serious(ish) note: as much as i would love to see you continue this zoo, i think for africa and with the new DLC coming, maybe it would be better to open a new zoo and start off with them. my literal only reasoning behind this is because of the lag and frame rate drops and the potential it has to make the game crash and potentially you losing all your progress in building something. unless you just naturally save every five minutes 🤔. but the frame rate doesnt personally bother me. and if youd prefer to continue in Elite Zoo North i would be more than happy to watch you finish it off. and i think the new update said something about research will now be able to carry over into other franchises so i dont think you would have to worry about that at least. I really like that loop connection between the Tigers and the elephant area, I thought that looked really nice. One thing that occurred to me is when checking if the loop works over by the komodo dragons which by the way looks super cool to right now I think you have it set to show no more than 5000 guests so I don't know if maybe there's not as many people that way if it would generate as many there as elsewhere? Which might make it seem like it's being used less than it is? Also regarding the other question I'm fine either way if you do just China or China and Arctic but I'm leaning more towards just China. Also I don't mind the frame rate at all but it's more important that you don't mind it because you're the one spending so much time playing it

You might want to change the name of “Carrotene Juice”. Not only is is spelled wrong, the correct spelling/pronunciation is keratin (care-a-tin). But it’s actually quite morbid. One of the most common ways rhino horns are used is they are crushed and put into boiling water to make tea. So the name suggests that a rhino was poached to make your drink. Just a suggestion Also, please give the Himalayan Bears more space

Given the context you mentioned, it might be problematic. Hey Party already tried to tell you this a few timed but you should use those conservation credits to increase the amount of the females in the polygamous animal habitats (camels, elephants, garial) to get lots and lots of babies you van trade out, once all the females start to become old (or make children with better genes) swap out the male for one with better genes and let him mate with al the females + their daughters in the habitat

Maybe each habitat should have it's own keeper hut and staff room. This way it wouldn't take as long to feed the animals.

put education boards in the side of the komodo mountain so people have something to do whilst trying out your new path! also around 29:08 i saw that the path next to the exhibit also wanted to connect, why not add to it? it might add to the loop 30:06 could you not add a wind turbine in those trees? add a staff path to it if needed, but i think it should be removed enough that it doesn't cause your negative impact concerns I am currently okay with the frame rate have you considered adding staff facilities in the himelayan caves? or maybe swapping the ones near tapier tavern for something bigger (too)? Hi Party, I am so excited at the idea of moving onto a new zoo. This is a franchise mode Let's Play after all, so it would be nice to see the Elize Zoo expand to a new location with new weather challenges and new money/ conservation credit challenges because that was so much of the joy at the beginning this one. I love the idea of including an Africa section into this zoo, though because it would feel incomplete to not have the last major location incorporated. If you do that, I would love to see more animals sharing the enclosures like the Pronghorn Antelope and the American Bison do to mimic the natural environment of the animals. I am happy either way though because I love your zoo and I love the series. Also, can you please put some benches down at the top of the Himalayan Brown Bear tower. After all of those steps, I would need a seat. And you don't have any up there. Thanks!!

I think you should add more keeper huts. Some of them are quite far and keepers enter the exhibit, see the food is low, and then have to go back to the keepers hut to prepare the food and walk BACK to the exhibit. Might explain why it takes so long for animals to be fed. Especially if there is a wait time to enter the keepers hut (if it’s full of other keepers)

Great video! just one suggestion for paths if loops do work. You should make the path connect in another place where the snow leopards and bears are because right now there is only one entrance to that viewing point. Maybe make another ramp connection where the baby snow leopard was wailing near those rocks? I noticed the path didn't connect down to where the tunnel was. It might bring more people up if connected? idk if what i said made sense but i tried to describe where i was talking about haha (look in the video at 1:07:59)

Hey party! Another fantastic episode. Just wanted to share my thoughts on a few points!! 1. You need a ton of staff facilities in your zoo. The number of staff rooms was sufficient when the zoo was small.. The number of keepers and the distance between each exhibit I guess in addition to the lack of easily accessible staff facilities could be a reason for keeper inefficiency. ( For example, You could use the area below famingle park or below the rhino exhibit to add more facilities ) 2. With regards to a new zoo I think you should start a new one after the artic and the china region is complete and Beauty passes done across the zoo!! It will make the zoo complete. The frame rate drop bothers you and would affect gameplay. 3. The new zoo could be situated in Africa and could be African exclusive animals which would kind of achieve what you wanted initially for Elite Zoo !! Hope these thoughts help!!! I think a new zoo for Africa and South America is a good idea. The climate of this zoo is not suitable for them and also we can always come back to this zoo if we want. With the new update the research would also be directly transferred to the new zoo which makes it more appealing to open a new zoo. Just my opinion folks.

With the amount of staff you now have, you definitely need more staff rooms, probably 2 per zone base on the infinite numbers of staff. More keeper huts never go astray either, you probably need a small one every few habitats near keeper entrances. With the new update coming you’re supposed to be able to hide them behind trees and walls to limit the impact on people

If you are not satisfied with the frame rate and it gets frustrating, I am totally fine opening up a new zoo! Especially with the new DLC dropping. Another great episode as always, Party... I’m excited to see a new zoo if that’s what you decide to do! Africa has so many available animals that you could probably fill a whole zoo with them.

I would like to see the zoo expand. Also I think you can limit the amount of guests that show. So you could only see 3k guests even when there is 7k or something. Hope this helps! Keep up the great work!

Also. I dont even notice the frame rate 🤷‍♀️ I do hope you get some bigger staff rooms now that you hired more keepers! Also. When the artic area comes. Between the Reindeers, you should look at Artic Wolves too! Might bring more people to that area. Allow underground viewing for the Wolves and top viewing in the dome for Reindeer. Just a future idea! Great episode as always, PE!

Habitats can absolutely share barriers. They can't share doors, but they can share barriers, I do It all the time.

Just a suggestion... I noticed you usually just put 1 or 2 food enrichments down per habitat, it might be worth putting out as many as you can (e.g. all types available for an animal). The animals do not get tired of it and it improves the view as guests love to see the animal "doing something". I recommend trying to spread them out to all viewing spots so the guests have something interesting to see plus it draws the animals to certain areas. The only downside: the keepers have o fill all of them up which can take a while

To solve the keeper issue, perhaps try having small keeper huts close to the entrance of every habitat where possible. This would mean that they have less distance to travel bring food so the animals will be fed on time. Also, I don't see the frame rate as an issue although if its bothering you, perhaps try reducing the number of visable guests and removing some of the special effects (water falls, smoke etc) as you do have a lot of them.

It would be fun to finish this zoo as a whole with all the animals, frame rate aside. Then the next zoos can branch off into more highly specified stuff that don’t have to have all the animals. Like a city zoo or a nature reserve or like themed for where the zoo is located rather than where the animal is located. It could be interesting to do this zoo and start another one, doing new zoo once a week and this zoo the rest of the days! Just a thought 🤗

It's such a beautiful zoo. I can see how playing with a slow frame can be hard and a bit frustrating. Do what you need to do for you to keep enjoying the play. With new stuff coming the zoo will only get bigger, and there is still Africa. That's a lot to frame rates.... On a structural note, have you ever looked at the works of Frank Loyd Wright the architect? He made an outlook point at House on the Rocks call The Infinity Room. From the outside it appears to have little support to no support but it's sound. Inside the room looks like it goes on for, well infinity, but comes to a sharp point. When I went for a school field trip I was 12 and still terrified of heights so I never made it out to the end. I never made it back to the the HotR as an adult and have sence moved far away from it. It's an amazing place and his architecture there is fun. Oh! Haha, all this to tell you that not all outlooks need fully visable supports. :) OranguTown seems to be the new Tortugalapagos.
