French designer Ora Ïto reinterprets the iconic Renault 17 sports coupe from the 1970s with this sculptural show car, the R17 electric restomod x Ora Ïto. Featuring a carbon body, a retro-futuristic interior, and an exclusive Galactique Brown color, the R17 is reincarnated in a strikingly ultra-contemporary style, with a brand-new 270 hp (199 kW) electric motor offering a range of 400 km.
The original Renault 17 was equipped with a sporty driving position, comprehensive features, and petal-shaped seats. Ora Ïto aimed to preserve the uniqueness of the cockpit, the seat structure, and the spirit of the interior materials while bringing a true touch of modernity. With a refined dashboard, new fabrics, reupholstered door panels, and redesigned seat cushions, the finish is meticulously crafted because "the detail is not just a detail."
