Impressive results! Does the Adaptive Optices use visible light, which will be missed for the observation or do they use infra red light, which could be filtered out, just for the AO, and leave the visual spectrum for the observation camera?

Hi Roberto, thanks for watching! Yes this model is optimized for 750 to 1000nm, but variations can be had for other wavelengths.

We unfortunately didn't get on sky until right near astronomical night ended, but the test shots of Jupiter and a single star with AO enabled was exciting to see!

@@Glofilter I'm now working for Sea West Observatories, but the AO units were optional accessories for the PlaneWave CDK700 and 1-meter rigs. I heard HartSCI was making smaller tip/tilt only AO units as well.

Not true. Pic du Midi observatory partnered with a French company to run adaptive optics years ago. This is not even close to a first.Lies won't get you into heaven...start practicing now.
