hi, thanks for the video tutorial... a couple of beginner questions here: 1.) in what orientation does the telescope is in the "home position" when we configure L350 in EQ mode ? 2.) when doing autofocus and alignment processes, does PWI4 can only be interface with MaxImDL ? (or I can use N.I.N.A) 3.) do i need to turn on tracking during the autofocus run that happens before the pointing model building ?

Here's a newbie planewave question. I just placed an order for the L-350. When doing your polar align and even doing an imaging session. Are customers stuck with using Maxm DL? Or can we use other software that we are more familiar with?

You will be fine to use your software of choice for an imaging session, but the dependency on MaxIm DL for model building is what has kept me away from purchasing one of these mounts. Here's hoping they remove that from PWI4 someday. It really is a completely unnecessary requirement.

@@obaigoss It's a drop in the bucket compared to what you're spending on the mount + ota + accessories.

Planewave is the best thing to happen to astronomy. Starlink is the worst. Soon we won't see stars or meteors.. 😪
