Really enjoy the show and Talk TV. Talking about subjects honestly like how a lot of us feel about them. Something to push back on the woke intolerance nonsense. Canada can be perceived as boring. My adult daughter is frustrated with how expensive it’s all gotten here like the rest of us. And like you all are facing over in Britain and around the world. She gets fed up with some things here so she’s wanting to move. I asked “where to, because I’m curious” She’s just figured out looking around and checking out the news and reading a bit more that Canada is pretty great. Free and safe compared to a lot of the craziness in other countries. Not perfect, and we have problems that are growing as well… But all in all? Boring is fine. Boring is GOOD. Ottawa has a lot of sightseeing with museums and government stuff to see it is also a city that has festivals all the time that are quite wonderful. Nightlife? Or for more vibrance go to Toronto. Canada has all kinds of flavours. From rugged remoteness to world class urban living. The landscape changes tremendously from Coast to Coast to Coast. We also have a Birdseye view to the south. Which makes us grateful to be living in Canada. Maybe calm and boring isn’t so bad. Yeah we have snow and cold but how cold and how much snow varies greatly across the country too. Ottawa gets a lot of snow and cold. I believe Ottawa is on the same latitude as Siberia. But we also have very hot summers. Especially in the south around the lakes where it gets very humid too. In the 40s Celius. I am in Ontario and the Jordan Peterson issue is dismaying to me. Seems to me they want him to follow all the woke rules. I suppose that means even though he feels very differently he’s going to have to call people by their preferred pronouns and all of the rest of it. You gotta be careful making one wrong move, just accidentally saying the wrong thing and you get nailed these days. I was hoping this thinking was changing. And I don’t think the court should be telling him he has to do that. Trudeau…. I can’t figure out what good he’s done. I’m not really left or right. I’m in the middle. But I got tired of him swanning around a long time ago. He did some things that we are not happy with, and the big thing was the truckers rally. They called a state of emergency and could arrest people. And it was overkill. And this week the court agreed. That might be interesting to cover Mike. Trudeau smiles. It looks nice, but he can be extremely heavy handed. Everyone has rights while it suits him. It was shocking what he did-quietly locking people’s bank accts and being warned by police if they even looked and commented on these trucker’s accounts. He is an example of the velvet stick. And even though I’m moderate with some liberal views, some of the stuff he pushes is a little much for me, and I think a lot of people. But basically I look at him as useless, except for promoting himself with photo shoots. Oh, and if you like marijuana, that is one thing he did do. He legalized it, and the smell of weed is prevalent and we have a lot more high drivers on the roads here. It came out of the shadows and the permissive attitude has meant young people don’t realize there are risks with the stronger weed now. And I know in the UK, there is a lot of talk, or concerns about the right to die and euthanasia and all of that. And it is a bit different here in Canada. But it is INACCURATELY stated to the UK viewers. Get it right pls! No it’s not a free-for-all for whoever wants euthanasia here in Canada, not by a LONG shot. Pls research before speaking, thank you very much!

Very little is said about white slavery esp children stolen from our streets. 600 from Aberdeen alone. “Though little acknowledged in history, there was in those days a thriving trade in stolen children and others. Those engaged in kidnapping were called "spirits", and many of those who were spirited away were taken to North America.[2][3] In January 1743, Williamson fell victim to the trade when he was kidnapped while playing on the quay at Aberdeen.[4] His autobiography gives his age as eight at the time. Some of the Aberdeen bailies were suspected of colluding with the traffickers; an estimated 600 children disappeared from the port when the trade was at its height between 1740 and 1746.[1]”

One of the main reasons behind the French invasion and full colonisation of Algeria was Algerians refused to comply with the ban on slavery - they were a main trading post involved with the trafficking of STOLEN western women to the Middle East as "concubines" (sex slaves) - something that had been going on for over SEVEN CENTURIES on a huge scale of mainly Caucasian women taken for consumption by the Middle East (the word Slave originates from Slav) - and that's another key word: "STEALING" (it wasn't initially trade) - Ottoman armies raided Western countries, whole villages of the non-sellable slaughtered - the valuable men, women and children were abducted as slaves, at least the western slave trade was actually a TRADE of manpower coz guess what? Slavery was once normal and EVERYONE did it until a brave little island banned it against the wishes of much of the world - ie western countries largely BOUGHT male slaves off existing centuries-old slave traders. The French decided enough was enough of this illegal female trafficking under their noses and invaded Algeria in a bid to stamp it out. Think of the morals behind the two types of slavery - night and day. The west largely traded MANpower while the east stole and trafficked girls and women to be raped their entire lives.

It should be sung proud by everyone in the country , including visitors.

Moderated here though. Have you not heard her with Kevin and 9-30 in the mornings where she is unbelievably manic and unbearable to listen too. Bring back Mike and Kev for god's sake.

Market value is market value. The ‘Investor’’ landlords have the right to market value, they don’t need to wear a mask. They are not robbing, it’s their investment, perhaps their pension. People have to move to find cheaper areas. The UK can’t afford to lose anymore private landlords so stopping them getting market value for the investment will lead to more landlords selling up

@@urban.uk.official everyway appeasing ethnic groups just to get the votes He sees which way the winds blowing then Changes his mind on any given day to suit. He saw Boris has his biggest threat and was pooing himself at the thought of going against Boris because he knows he doesn't stand a cats chance in hell of winning against Boris so he has spent months and months trying to stir the public against Boris with hyped up parties etc He is definitely weak he goes on programmes he knows he will get a soft touch he is pathetic in my opinion.

It’s a mute argument because Britons have been slaves. White slave trade mean anything? Oh…they were just women so that doesn’t count! Romans in Britain then? That is too historical and long before the song was written.

What happens when Apsana looses her seat? She’s only on that salary for 3 years. Then she has to run again. They want her to move out of her flat & then go back on the waiting list when she earns
@mickc73889 ай бұрын
Loose her seat in Tower Hamlets, you are joking right, there's a lot more of her own people living their so no chance of that happening. Don't forget her yearly expenses income of + £240,000 p/a.

Iv got friends, a couple with 3 children, basically homeless because their last landlord wanted to sell the house they were renting, so now they are camping in a motor home so according to the Council - they are not homeless - yet all our newbuilds are being given to the immigrants when my friends were born & bred & worked in our hometown.. or in our case Humza Useless is bringing in ALL his relatives 🙄
