Fun video! If more adults played with stickers the world would be a better place. LOL I use to feel guilty about purchasing stickers and planning with stickers until my daughter told me I should do what makes me happy. This video perfectly explains why I hesitate in converting to a Bujo entirely...I would miss the decorative stickers too much...but am not sure an EC exclusively is it for me either because I need longer more detailed to do lists :) Today is even the birthday of Bullet Journaling! Your pages look beautiful, especially the memory keeping pages. You say you are not artistic but you are! My planning style is completely different from yours. Aim a strictly functional planner. Using stickers would stress me out....they would have to be perfectly placed then I would worry the stickers having enough space for me to write on!! So many worries and so much anxiety for me!!! I so enjoy watching your totally different approach and how relaxing and enjoyable it is for you. Everyone plans differently!. I use a horizontal layout, no stickers except transparent removable flags to highlight work appointments. But do use pretty inserts with a decorative floral border around the edges of each page. Using your EC as a memory keeping journal is an excellent idea. Looking forward to future updates.

I agree trying it out without going nuts buying a million stickers is a good idea. I did a bullet journaling class and we had a challenge to do a spread totally different than we'd normally do. I searched Pinterest for free printable planner stickers and did a whole week with those. It was fun but it is definitely not something that works for me. It was good to have confirmation since the stickers are enticing.

I would love to see you and Don do a video together about parenthood since CC is over a year old. What has changed, what has stayed the same, best memories etc. I don't think I have seen Don in a video since CC was born other than a quick shot with him in it.

I have stopped using the weekly spreads but want to do a memory journal more than just planning. I was curious about he space in a monthly for doing like a monthly collage after the actual calendar? Why not draw out the calendar for the month and add your content info as you did for the EC? I draw a monthly not only for refrance but for any birthdays or appointments etc. Love having one in my BJ'S.
