As a life long Arizonan please go to Sedona. For what your looking for in terms of activities it’s the place you want to go. I would rent a car from Phoenix only cuz you can drive around and really do some nice exploring and activities. There’s so much there more than just staying at a resort. Tons of nice places to stay then you can drive to all your activities. It’s small enough that it won’t be an issue there at all. That budget could get u far if u plan a little better and still be Luxe if u stay somewhere nice. You have options. A car is needed there as well to really explore. The drive is not bad and self explanatory too. Just remember I-17 north from Phoenix toward Flagstaff and you will see the Sedona exit. Slide Rock park is also nice and fun to check out if you never been. The drive thru it is amazing and relaxing. Take hiking shoes! 👍🏽

thanks for the feedback! What are some visit/hotel stay/restaurants you reccomend?
@volcompunk582 жыл бұрын
@@AjaDang I would recommend checking out the Pink Jeep Tour just so you can see some places you can't get to without an ATV type vehicle. Cathedral Rock Church/ the rock itself is a popular place to check out. Tlaquepaque plaza is a popular place with art/gift shop/restaurants to check out. They have a resort there called Los Abrigados that is really popular. As for restaurants I love Javalina Cantina and I was never impressed with a popular place called Mariposa, people mostly went there cuz it was bougie but maybe you'll like it. It's a small place so the food is just based on what you like but don't expect spectacular cuisine. I'm sure where you stay will have a onsite place to eat as well. There's a Whole Foods and Cvs/Walgreens and a small outlet center if you need any snacks, clothes for your stay. Id go to the visitors center to get a hiking guide and ask any other questions you may have for vortex's etc. It's so small its easy to see it all so that's why I recommend the car. Either way it's gorgeous there and very relaxing in that way. You will have fun no matter what you do there and check out Oak Creek and if you want Slide Rock. Many people go and park on the side road and head down to the creek. It's will be busy for the summer. Everything closes early too so make sure you get things before 9 PM.

I'm so glad I watched this and read the comments! I was thinking of doing a solo trip instead of a bachelorette party, and this made me feel better about it. I've never been a huge party person, and a solo trip seems much more practical for me. And then to consider my friends and their situations, I don't want to make them feel obligated to spend money when they shouldn't have to.

I went to Civana for my bachelorette with my sister, sisters-in-law, and two close friends. It was the most magical experience and I'm so glad that I went with a wellness retreat for my bachelorette. Enjoy Arizona for your solo-rette!

Might be a little late to say this, but my mom did her 50th at Civana and raved about it. Really beautiful walks/hiking near by. Great yoga and spa stuff etc. Just thought might add more info to the decision process! Both seem like amazing trips.

I LOVE the idea of a solo Bach. Would love to hear more ideas/suggestions. I just feel bad having people spent $ on me. I’m going to two bachelorette parties this summer and both require me to travel. It’s expensive. I regret agreeing to one because I found out I’m the only person not in the bridal party & im also not invite to the bridal shower (and we’ve been friends for 15+ years!). So idk I think I would have more fun by myself at a spa 😂. I talked to my fiancé about it and he said go for it so we shall see what I do for myself.

Aja! Ugh love this idea and will have to steal it from you one day 🙏🏼 Also since you’re a foodie, I would suggest maybe dinner at The French Laundry in Yountville, plus Napa Valley wine tours. I’ve been to a few 3 star M, but The French Laundry is always so on point and consistent! So happy for you and your continuing success !

Suggestion- Red Mountain Resort in St. George Utah. ITS GORGEOUS. And the Spa has a ton of packages and they offer outdoorsy packages too depending on what you’re feeling. Food can be included but the city is only 10 minutes away and there’s a ton of great local foodie spots so I’m sure delivery is an option and going out or taking an Uber is super quick and easy.

For the Home Edit items, the prices at Walmart are waayyy cheaper. The difference appears to be that they are using a different manufacturer. Would definitely shop at Walmart first and then Container store.

Sedona is a great option! Definitely hike West Fork Trail and catch a bite at Indian Gardens Cafe. If you’re up for a tiny road trip from Sedona, try visiting the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff Civana in Carefree could be nice too, but it will be as hot as Phoenix/Scottsdale that time of year (although, we heard it’ll be a wetter monsoon season, so who knows!). In Sedona, the temperature difference would be maybe 10-15 degrees cooler. If you don’t mind the heat, a couple of other options down in the Phoenix area are Royal Palms, the Omni Montelucia or the Scott!
