shuangjing, wangjing, dawanglu, liangmaqiao, chaoyang park are the nicer areas in east side Beijing, but quite expensive. Actually my mom has a 50 sqm loft right off the tallest building in CBD, and she rented out for 10000 per month to a Hong Kong guy.. (not too bad compared to Toronto and London?)
