I love your description of the plants. I love your fav plants. Ferns too. What i like most about you is your impulse control towards spending. Oh Sandra thank you! No ...Malaysia is one of the worst place to get exotic plants esp if they are imported...the aroids are not cheap cuz not native to here. And importation is complex when it comes to any country where agro is key. Much like ANZ also tricky. So it is far easier...to get these babies in neighbouring Spore believe it or not!

I think it looks similar, but Monolena come from South America and given Irene's location it's more likely to be an Ardisia or Labisia species.

New fan / subscriber here. I really like your personality and passion. The plant with "abs" is known in the hobby as Labisia sp Turtle Back, which is obviously a trade name. Coincidentally I just got one of those today. The nursery was beautiful and there were some amazing plants I've never seen. The large species are awesome. My personal collection is primarily mini and micro plant species, and I'm especially into mini ferns, moss, and liverworts. I would have been in heaven at that nursery; I'd probably stand in one spot for an hour just examining the tiny moss and ferns all over everything, while everyone else would be looking at the aroids. I would LOVE if you occasionally made some videos featuring mini plants, moss, liverworts, ferns, and other tiny things that most people ignore. Looking forward to more vids from you.

I will never stop buying, loving & adoring plants may it be rare or not bcoz it's been my therapy since my hubby asked me to quit my job & take care if my home & 2 kids, & now that they are both adults, working, i have lots of time to spend in my garden. I love ornamental plants & dn't even care for them their prices. You know, rare or not & beautiful plants may not be expensive bcoz there are vibrant colors like the coleus, & there are sooo nice leaves shapes now that are not pricey, but of course i love the rare one. Oh by the way, i'm envious of your Liquala Cordata😍 as i can't find in our local plant sellers. Tho, a lot of different varieties & species are available in the market. Hehe...nothing damaged...I think! We did accidentally kicked over a pot of baby gloriosum that was on the floor but luckily no damage to the plant. Quickly sweep back potting media back into the pot. Shhh....
