First of all , Zen and Irene. I love that big pot with the round lotus (handy umbrella too xox). The background of the old grey, green wall with ficus pumila snaking across looks so lovely (yes it can be invasive if not kept at a close shave). So sorry about your variegated (doggy) tragedy. The Philodendrons and ferns will look amazing and indeed triumph. I have 3 dogs , who love to crowd surf and dive into my precious plants! Rebar strategically positioned and covered in spray painted black wire, is an esthetic dog Vs garden win- win. Keeps everyone happy, including the bush mice and lizards, dogs and me. No more crying over whacked, crushed, flattened, flipped over and bruised plants. Omg, the hack brick non-retaining wall (that isn’t), also missing bricks lah! Btw, I never use a trowel or gloves for small jobs. Enables me to feel the soil and not decapitate our helpful friends, the little worms. Hardcore organic gardeners go barefoot to feel with their feet and hands whatever is happening; sensing through their soles and skin feeling whether their plants need water, is the soil compacted or light and full of organic life...ect. Can you do some paint splotches on the grey pipe to blend in more? Perhaps the plants will grow up and cover. The Platyceriums look so great draping down like a curtain and held by the galvanised fence. I have noticed that plant nurseries in Indonesia and Malaysia are mounting Platyceriums onto that same strong black plastic drainage material you are using (instead of wood, as growing epiphytically in nature). Why do you use it exactly ? Your gnarley cork backing, on one of them looks so great. The 2 on the trunk on that huge plinth will be amazing. Thank you for the tour and tips.
@zenngan93773 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much 😊 Ya! The grey pipe. Just wandering why I didn’t ask to move down more!😅 The black plastic easy mounting big Platycerium & can watering from back board. Because in my place I need to move in & out so times. Especially raining season. Yes! Normally I like mount on wood it look much artistic. I love cork bark so much. But not easy to find in Malaysia & a bit pricey.

🇵🇷😄👍 🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃 OMG!!! 😱 Irene and Zen Ngan almost died with this trip of emotions. I feel like traveling to Malaysia and being able to share with you, work the land barefoot, I love it, Jajajajajajaja. Zen's platycerium collection is to crying with joy💞, her aerial plants, the T. Xerographica, the T. Usneoides and the odd one that I saw out there, here in Puerto Rico🇵🇷 they are found wild. Very naughty schnauzer dog 13:17🤦🏾♂️ Although the lotus was in the middle of the spot, I hope that at some point we can talk about it, because it took three years that I germinated some seeds and the little plants they are ashamed🤭, because they do not take off from the surface, I adore aquatic plants too. Jjjjj !!! A big hug for Malaysia I hope one day to travel and greet them at a Leafing Around Fan meeting.🇵🇷😄👍
