Wish l had found this channel earlier, now subscribed! You know your stuff! I was struggling with plantar fasciitis for the past 3 years and none of the conventional stuff was working. I even started getting knee, back, and hip pain this past year. I went to my PT for the hip pain and he told me my glutes and core are weak which is causing bad posture and muscle imbalances. I started doing the assigned strengthening workouts daily and boom, my foot, knee, and back pain all disappeared too. It's amazing how just a few muscles can affect the entire body.

Thanks for the video! Imagine that….everything is connected, even down to what you eat. I’m finally in PT for my PF. And it’s working - only because my hips, knees, gait, stretching, strengthening are all part of it. Bravo for thinking outside the foot!!

Thank you so much! I needed to come across your channel! I've been suffering with plantar fasciitis for almost a year now. I did talk to my doctor about it but all he said to do was stretch my foot and apply ice but that doesn't seem to be working. I will definitely follow your Phases and look forward to being pain free.

Perfectly explained Sir. I have been suffering from Player Fascia from last 3-4 years. I tried various different treatment and at most of the places, it was medicine and one size fits all treatment/excercise. Nobody explained the this so well as you did. I'll definitely give a try to the do's and don't you mentioned in this video and will start practicing from basic exercise. Additionally, I have been asked to wear soft footwear both at home and outside all the time. I have also observed that walking without soft footwear increases my planter fasciitis pain alot.

Thanks so much for your video. Everything you say makes perfect sense and I am backtracking on following conventional advice to focus on strengthening the foot first. I quickly overdid it and made things much worse. Now resting, gentle massage and ice sounds just right. One thing I think is key to this whole PF phenomena is correct footwear. I've been living in barefoot gobi's but I think I overdid it now I cannot walk five mins in these shoes without inflaming the feet seriously. So I think I need recovery shoes. Trying Oofas and a square foot trail running shoe from Altra. Hopefully, these will help. Some say walk barefoot in the house. It only works for me on carpet. Need more cushion in recovery stage. Thanks again for your brilliant video. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Hi Ashley, very informative video, I suffered from PF pain along time ago, about 12 years ago, only thing that worked was Myofascial release and thereafter active isolated stretching, however I started lifting weights about 2 years ago and I was feeling strong, but had to stop has I noticed the pain was coming back in my feet and since then the pain has gone from bad to worse, it’s only in 1 foot and I have been trying the ais stretches but they are not working, I will try all your recommendations. My question is how do u bring the inflammation down? If as soon as u wake up in the morning, the pain is there when u put ur feet on the ground? I have started using icing and it is really helping, but when would u get into the 2nd and 3rd phases of massage and stretch? ESP if u are at work all day and on ur feet a lot? Thank you

Hi Leila, the best thing you can do is to keep yourself moving, keep the muscles working and avoid doing things that make the problems worse. For your scoliosis I would highly recommend stretching and strengthening exercises. I hope that helps. Best wishes, Ashley

Thank you for your informative video. I’ve had plantar fasciitis since childhood. I’m sixty now. The pain is diffuse under my foot. Walking and standing is so exceedingly painful that I have a disability parking pass. A simple trip through a grocery store is enough to keep me off my feet for days, especially in warm weather. How long do you think someone in my situation might need to remain in the first stage of recovery, ie gentle massage?

I have also observed that when i am trying to relax on bed, i feel the pain radiating in my feet to calf muscles. My natural curve of feet feels more compressed. Can you please advise how to ease this radiating pain which is disturbing my sleep a lot.

Thanks for the video. I’m wondering am I plantar fasciitis? I have bad pain for both front of feet bottom and heels after a walk longer than 30 mins. I sometimes get blisters if I go on hiking. It’s severe pain. I also get similar pain after standing for a long time even at home just so cooking. Thank you!

I have come across your channel on the recommendation of one of my friends. It has been three days since I am suffering from the pain. The pain is somewhere coming from the joints of pelvis, femur and coccyx/sacrum/lumber. I am not sure where actually the pain is coming from the parts of vertebrae but I feel some pain at the lower region of my vertebrae. I didn't have any accidents in past months so it's not due to any injury. But the pain is very severe. It's very hard to move my left leg. I feel the pain while walking, climbing up the stairs and while bending. Please suggest me some exercise/treatment/yogasana/videos. I am 15 years and 9 months old. Thank you.
