I just discovered your channel and will definitely try out some recipes. You mentioned you are in North Phoenix and I wanted to mention the Vegan Taste, it is a local company in the valley that does vegan meal delivery. Check out their website, they make great food and it is a diverse menu. It is easy and convenient to just eat what they provide, but I usually figure out ways to add stuff to it and make it stretch further or maybe add more protein. The owner is a vegan chef who used to have a restaurant but it closed during covid.

I bought TVP after seeing your video and it was delicious but my god, the gas I produced! I began experimenting with rinsing the TVP, then soaking, then rinsing again, and it worked! No excessive gas. So if any of your viewers have this problem they can try this rinse method. I also wanted to tell you that I took mushrooms, pulsed them a few times in my bullet blender, and they were almost like the tvp size pieces, and I did the same with carrots and onions. Cooked and seasoned them together with the tvp in veggie broth. I thought of you Joey because the mushrooms became invisible in the end. And the flavor was wonderful. Love you guys❤️❤️

Joey, these videos are so WONDERFUL!!! Thank you for sharing :) Quick FYI, you probably already know his work... but Simnett Nutrition just did a video on 3 one pot meals that are 30 grams of protein and right around 400 calories per serving. I so wish I could have you over for a dinner party, I love your food! By the way, I’m a fellow vegan protein Ninja creami lover and I found I was able to swap the pudding mix for powdered peanut butter (actually powdered cashew butter works even better) and the taste and texture is even better than the pudding mix! I do sometimes add a few drops of vanilla stevia or monkfruit depending on my base but it’s sooo creamy (and adds even a bit more protein too). Keep up the incredible work!

I’ve never used pudding mix or xantham gum in my Creami pints. I’ve been using 2 TBSP cashew butter or 1/4cup cashews. I’ve been sweetening with dates or maple syrup or agave. I do have monkfruit but never opened it because I didn’t know how to use it! Question….how would you make it without pudding mixes? Xanthan gum…what does it do? Would you say that is about 1/8 tsp? Thanks guys!

You can leave both of them out. I use them because they are low in calories and slightly change the flavor.
