Chet, I am nearly 80 years old and there was no such thing as a Yankum tow rope when I was your age , but we about kinetic energy so we we used two chains and an old tire between them to tow things out of the mud .

Had the same issue last year with my DB and that’s exactly what it was. Depending on the seed to we gotta pour the graphite/talc to it. Pretty much the whole time your loading I steady pour it in there. Nothin crazy but I try and get every seed coated. We use a Precision brand blend,seems to work well.Not sure if that planter has it but there’s 2 spots on each wing (4 total)that you can pull rubber plugs and clean all the talc out. Pull um and crank up the vac. Helps your fans to do that every once in awhile.

Planter vacuum is measured in inches of water, not psi. 1 psi = 28 inches of water. We run corn at 18 inches and soybeans betweem 8 - 10. The more vacuum the harder to turn the seed plate.

LOL - that discer may need some TLC, Chet. Give it a onceover, and you won´t have to touch it again for 25 years. But what I Really wanted to comment was reseeding those areas you´ve been digging. I like to plant crops that I WANT in my field, just to keep the weeds away - because the crops are stronger than a lot of weeds and keep them down -at the very least they´re giving the weeds some competition. So I get a head start on the next season by replanting, even though it might not be useful at all for this years yield. No mystery why you got stuck with the 2Trac on row crop belts. BS probably has 3x the footprint on the Case - so with proper shoes you would´ve been golden too - but I really suspect you knew that already #notstagedmya$$ ;D

That is a lot of HP for the size of the disc. When the 220 came out most people pulled them with a tractor of a 110 + . You should of ran it at 10mile an hour for theft of it

Imagine that, A Red tractor pulling a green tractor. Something you almost ALWAYS see.
@tucker65774 жыл бұрын
Probably because the track footprint on the T is smaller than that of the quadtrac. Has nothing to do with the brand, just something that happens in farming

Okay a suggestion. I watch Mike Mitchell up there in Canada who does 40000 Acre. you lose have to clean the bathrooms. And for every stick you pay $20 in the pot. Name for the person who does no or the less amount of sticks. Win the pot of money. Looks like fun!!
