Oh and soaking the cashew nuts in some hot water while the veggies are cooking will help soften them and make a creamier cheese sauce, for anyone who doesn’t have a high speed blender 👍🌱💚

I seriously love this lifestyle now. I am so looking forward to begin editing my documentary so I can share with the world my journey and this being part of it. I am now engrossed in the plant based starch solution life and it works... for me.. it works... I lost 150 pounds in less than a year and documented all of it. I ENDED here and honestly have never felt better in my life. Thank you for doing what you do and the whole group of people who focus here. I hope soon I can join in more regularly after the doc drops and help the world just ... be better all around, starting at the table where our nutrition should come first and foremost and not conversation about your day over a fast food meal. Not to knock anyone who needs to do this but we can all eat healthier with better choices and I hope soon I can provide some of those answers for people like myself. Just an IT guy who learned a lot the past year and this being so damn valuable.

Your home is absolutely stunning. My family and I have been vegan since summer of 2018 but we still use quite a bit of olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil. Thank you for your videos, they have helped me start the transisiton away from oil. Your cheese sauce is amazing!!!!

Lovely. We re-did our kitchen, I did my cupboards to the ceiling. Their for storage of things I used before plant based - like pie pans, cake pans, muffin pans, bundt pans, big roasting pans - you get the picture. I also store my canning stuff, like canning salt, funnels, tongs, lids, rings, big bowls, vacuum sealers, etc. I don't can as much as I used to. But if I run into a deal - I'll can. More recently I've become a huge fan of dehydrating. I bought a 9 tray dehydrator 7 years ago, and slowly learned what works for us and what doesn't. I love dehydrating. So many times I'd be in the middle of making a soup or stew and I'd be out of celery, or ran out of carrots, or my last red bell pepper spoiled. So, I turned to dehydrating my most used veggies I use for soups and stews, for emergency add-in type situations, and OMG, it was the best thing I've ever done! No longer do I worry about not having a fresh item on hand. And yes, we still love real, regular apple pie (I know, bad right?), so I dehydrate a ton of apples and can make an apple pie whenever. You did a lovely job designing your kitchen. I think the water over the stove is a great idea, a friend of mine has that, and when she's cooking and just needs to add a tad of water to this or that, there it is. And she fills her tea kettle from there. Actually, she uses it a ton. She always raves about it. Again, thanks and just learned something new - you love to sew!

I agree I have a dear friend I never eat at her house cuz the cat is on the counters, he daughter is pregnant she got a parasitic illness "toxoplasmosis" that threatened the baby after much testing it was from fecal oral transition from CAT POO her Dr said that is so dangerous asked if she was emptying a litter box she was not, but then they discovered the cat was leaving a plethora of nasties on the counter so again I say yuk , I love animals but love my humans more, thank you for your response hope you have a blessed day! Absolutely beautiful rooms. I love all the wooden things . When you say “down size” that’s obviously in the American down sizing terms?!!! I love your induction stove, and have a similar one by Bosch. It's so easy to keep clean! I have also been considering your same fridge when it comes time to replace ours. My fiance, dog, and I live in 800 square feet on the main level of our house, and rent out the basement for added income. When I remodeled the kitchen, I also had my cabinets go to the ceiling. I always thought that gap on top of cabinets was a waste of space. The advantage of a smaller living space is it's much cheaper to heat, and faster to clean. I never have a "cold" house. When I visit friends who live in large houses it always feels freezing cold to me, they are too cheap to turn up the heat!

It would save us space because our air fryer is big and I hate a toaster taking up space. That solves it all. Could you also link your washer and dryer you have? BRAVO!! - your kitchen is top notch so epicurean and stylish, love all the natural wood. I loved the tour!! Thank you for showing it to us! Question - Have you considered using mic due to the high ceilings creating an echo? I inherited an older 90's Vitamix, we used to have a 20 year old K-tec (the former name they used for Blendtec), and we kept having to buy new blender containers for it - it was $100 every year. So I eventually donated it. The Vitamix has a lot of pros (high speed, adjustable, tamper) and cons (narrow bottom so hard to get stuff out of there, very tall, too tall for cabinets, super heavy). I would say unless I make a larger amount of something I use my Nutribullet about 90% of the time to grind and blend stuff (like dressings). If I do the cheeze sauce I will pull out the Vitamix.

When I make your cheese sauce I use a spoonful of raw cashew butter. It comes out SO smooth and perfect. No boiling, chopping anything. You just plunk it in and I only add about a tablespoon.
